Are you in the market for a nice SUV that seats 5 and averages 27 MPG? The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport just might be right for you.
The 2013 Mistubishi Outlander Sport gets 24/31 MPG. This vehicle was returned with almost 3/4 of a tank!! We were planning a trip to my grandma's house that weekend but didn't go. I know it would have gotten us there and back without issues. Especially at 30 MPG on the highway!
This Crossover has a base price of $19,170!!! It truly is an amazing vehicle for the price and all the features that it has included.
This vehicle has the Push Start button. If the keys are within a certain distance from the car you can start it by just pushing the brake and then pushing the button.
It seats 5 passengers. 2 in the front and 3 in the back.
The trunk space is HUGE for a crossover. Truly it shocked me with how much space is back there.
It was able to fit my weekly groceries in there and then some. There was enough room in there for whatever I needed to travel with me.
Jon also put his golf clubs in there without issue.
But if that wasn't enough space, the seats also fold down flat.
You push the button on top
And pull the seat down. If the seat belts get in the way, they easily pop out of their slot and stay out of the way.
It has an amazing sound system and has a 10" subwoofer in the trunk of the car as well.
But I think my overall favorite feature of the Outlander Sport is the glass roof.
And at night is has gorgeous illumination.
At night this car looked real slick. It was a nice vehicle to get into and drive.
It also had a wonderful navigation on it that was so realistic.
This car was fantastic. Truly. It fit both car seats in the back row with ease and could easily fit a third car seat as well. There was plenty of room.
It also had the arm rest with cupholder in the back row.
I'm 5'6" so average. If you're toting around full grown adults in the back seat. Rest assured there is plenty of room back there.
Also my husband's friend is 6'6" and he fit in the front without issues. He said it was a very comfortable ride.
The Outlander Sport also is AWD. It has the ability to be 2 wheel or 4 wheel. You can set it to 4wd auto so it decides if you need 2 or 4 or you can turn it on and lock it.
Overall this car was amazing. I loved the color, the sporty look it had to it and the features that were included. All in all the vehicle I received was $30,915. But still a very affordable vehicle.
It also has a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty which is hard to find with vehicles these days!
It has a 7 air bag safety system. Also has the rearview camera which is actually built right into the rear view mirror. It was a very neat feature. And even has a tire pressure monitoring system so you know when your tires need more air.
*Disclaimer, I received a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport for a 1 week test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.

ReplyDeleteIt's a really nice car but I'm just not a fan of 'smart cars' as they are so very expensive!
ReplyDeleteI like that the seats fold down; you don't have to take them out.
ReplyDeleteI don't know a ton about cars, but the first thing I noticed when the page loaded was how pretty it is! LOL! The color is amazing and the car itself looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the color, and it has lots of great features... now to win the lottery so I can buy one :) Hubby has a 98 Mitsubishi 3000GT so we love the Mitsubishi brand, years ago I used to work at one of their dealerships....

ReplyDeleteThat roof is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool car! I love the massive trunk space! That keyless start thing always kind of freaks me out, but now that I know you have to push the brake down to start it I feel a lot better about it! :) I could just picture my 4 year old over there pushing the button, but no way he could reach the pedals, so that's good. :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to have a bigger vehicle for when we have more kids. This one is really nice looking!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me think I could drive an SUV, lol.

ReplyDeleteNice crossover. Great price and gas mileage.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful car and color! And...a nice price to match! I love the gas mileage...yet the SUV....looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteI usually don't care for SUV's b/c of the low mileage and lack of cargo space. But this one is an exception. I love that there is so much space in the back seat.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice car must have been fun to drive.

ReplyDeleteMichelle Tucker

Interesting way to start the car. I've never done it with a button before.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a sweet ride!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice base price for that car. I love the look of it at night. The more glow the better. It's a nice vibrant color that you don't often see, even in Florida. And not a bad subwoofer!

ReplyDeleteI love the color of this SUV and I love that it has plenty of room in the back seat for three car seats.
ReplyDeleteI like the size of the car & the options it has with it, very nice :)
ReplyDeleteThis vehicle had a lot of really nice features. I am not really much of a fan of the rear view camera- we have one and it doesn't do much for me. I'd rather haf the side vehicle warning system.
ReplyDeleteOut of all, I'd go for this one. Good review. Tempting. Although I'd rather have a pickup.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this color!
ReplyDeleteI love this color and it sounds like a great SUV. Thank you for your review.
