National Geographic is at it again!! This time with the 2014 Kids Almanac. I remember as a kid looking through National Geographic magazines and the Almanac as well. They were great for learning and teaching and I was so happy to be able to review one for Avery.
We got our copy a couple weeks ago and Avery has been all over it. She's been reading it (she can read now YAY) and looking at all the pictures and she's loving it so far. Especially all the animals. She just turned 6 so she's right at the age group for this (6+) and I think that is dead on. It's just perfect for those early readers and learners. There's not just pictures and fun filled facts, there are also lots of opportunities to learn online as well.
Even Emerson enjoys looking at all the animals.
You're never too old for the Almanac. I enjoyed reading and learning about the items in here as well.
*Diclaimer, I received a copy of this book directly from National Geographic for the purpose of this review.
