Derm Organic Review & Giveaway

Hair is one of those very touchy things. For some people whatever shampoo they use works for them. For others (like myself) that is so not the case. In the past I was able to use 1 kind of shampoo and conditioner, it was the only one that didn't leave my hair ratty and left it soft and manageable. After doing some research this was actually one of the WORST shampoos for your hair. 

Shampoo is supposed to cleanse and clean your hair without stripping oils out of it. It's supposed to leave your hair soft, but not contain nasty chemicals like commercial brands do. I have finally found my shampoo!

Derm Organic sent me a WONDERFUL package of items to try

Let's start with the Daily Conditioning Shampoo that I received. And we'll also start with the Intensive Hair Repair Masque. I started using these immediately after receiving them in the mail. I did try the Daily Moisturizing Conditioner at first, but once I tried the masque I never used the conditioner again. Here's why. 

The shampoo lathers in your hair, but not much. A commercial shampoo lathers and coats your hair and this is different. It's actually made with skin cleansers so it doesn't strip your hair of oils. You use it just like a regular shampoo, lather in and rinse out. The Masque conditioner is AMAZING!! You put it in your hair and then finish with your shower, for me this is washing my body and rinsing my body and then shaving. Then I rinse it out of my hair. 

My hair feels amazing after using these products for 2 months now. It's smoother, it has more shine, it doesn't get tangled. It's just great. And it's not harming my hair at all which I love. 

I'm even going to say this. About 2 weeks ago I even tried Wen. It left my hair SUPER greasy and I couldn't handle it... This is so much better and different and I just love it!

They also sent me the Leave-in Treatment which is great as well. It's an oil, not a cream like most are, but doesn't leave your hair greasy at all. It leaves it soft and shiny.

I got 2 bottles of the Fast Dry Shaping Spray. You spray it on your hair in small sections while blow drying and then spray again once your hair is dry to give it more finished look. This hair spray actually works pretty well.  

I also got the Volume Foam which I have not had a chance to try yet. I don't style my hair that requires volume very often at all.

All of the products smell amazing and most of them use the Argan Oil which is awesome!

Price: This varies. I received a 12oz bottle of shampoo here and an 8oz masque. But I purchased a liter of each on Amazon for $39.50. Which will probably last me 6 months :)
