Newborn Cloth Diaper Celebration: Softbums Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Whenever I get asked why my favorite brand of diapers is, I always mention Softbums. It's just the way they adjust is so great! I truly love them and they are my favorite OS diaper!

I was able to review their newer type the Omni. When it first released Avery was out of diapers, so I was excited to try this one with Emerson. AND they came out with the prints at the same time. So I was in luck. 

I choose the Blooga for the review. 

I also got a cute little keychain!

 It came with an insert. Avery had a major issue with microfiber, plus it gets stinky, so this is an organic bamboo pod!

 The inside is a nice soft fleece

 You can also snap in an insert

 OR you can stick one in the pocket!!!

 To adjust you find the hole in the front...

 Reach in and pull out the elastic

 Find the toggle on the legs and adjust accordingly

 You squeeze the toggle and then just pull on the leg to make it looser

 Both sides at their largest

 To make it tighter, you squeeze the toggle and then pull the elastic out the front

Both sides at smallest

 Somewhere in the middle

 and Largest

 Claims to fit legs that are 4"-14", I'm not sure what Emerson's are, but these fit him well.

 Perfect fit!

 It is a bit bulky though since it is a one size diaper. And it covers his cord too.

Overall though the diaper is amazing. We couldn't use the pod with it because it's far too large and bulky, so I just stuffed another insert into the pocket and went from there. 

I love the print. I love that the diaper fits him well. It fits great around the legs and waist, it's just bulky. But I like that there's no snap rise on the front which usually just adds more bulk to it. 

Overall, it's great. These worked great with Avery and so far are working great with him. 

I have an echo and now an omni as well and they have both been amazing. 

I love the new features of the Omni though that the Echo doesn't have. The echo is just a snap in insert. The omni can be layed in, snapped in OR it's a pocket diaper. It's a great diaper to have for daycare or babysitters because it's super easy to figure out. Especially if it's already adjusted to size. Another great thing is the elastic stays. Sometimes those OS diapers come unsnapped in the wash and you need to resnap them down to size every time, not with the softbums!

Price: Omni is $21.95 for just the shell. The Microfiber pod is $5.95 and the bamboo is $9.25. It can be a bit pricey, but if you get 12 covers and 36 inserts you are still saving a ton of money!

Overall: ***** LOVE Softbums and that will never change!
