Butt Bench Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

This is a pretty cool item! I was contacted by Butt Bench to review one of their seats. I was so excited I didn't even take time to measure... I received the Cedar Butt Bench for the review. 
When I got the Butt Bench I quickly went to try it out. 
Well it hung over the side of our tub by about 2". It just wouldn't work out. I was so bummed that this seat was too wide. 

We live in a mobile home and along with that comes everything in a not standard size. INCLUDING our tub apparently. 
We had this issue when we bought a new door a couple years ago. We had to cut about 3" off the bottom! It stinks because everything needs to be either custom or just cut down to size. 

So anyway, this seat didn't work for us. But I can still review it's benefits. 
I was really looking forward to getting this seat, because shaving right after having a baby would have been AMAZING on it. That was going to be it's main purpose for me. 

But it was going to be in the kid's tub as it's our only tub and it would have been great for Avery in a couple years too, to sit and shower. She isn't showering yet so this was going to be great for her to learn to shower and not fall. 

I'm just bummed it didn't work out. But it's great for senior citizens, women shaving and lots more! It also serves as a shelf for your goods!

It comes in Pine, Pink and White as well

Price: Between $52.95 and $56 depending on how wide you want it (12" or 15")

Overall: ***** too bad we couldn't use it!

    This would be amazingly useful in our shower. We're always at a shortage of space for things.

    Definitely gives a normal bathroom a spa like feel.

    I don't think this would be practical for my family at this time, but I had to comment anyway and say that I wish I had known about this after my first was born 3.5 years ago! I could barely stand after we got home from the hospital (25 hours after his birth), and for three days I had to sit on a plastic chair we hauled into the shower, because I couldn't stand to shave my legs, or even just long enough to wash my hair. I'm so glad someone thought this up!

    I like the White Pine Bench. I could really use this as I am not so sturdy on my feet when I shave in the shower. Another dear sign of getting old. LOL
    A lot of the times I take a bath because of my tendency to slip but I would prefer a shower.
    Nice review. Sorry it did not work for your tub though. :-(

    I'd get the White Pine. Is there not a way you can either cut it down to fit or even just let the extra hang over? I can't tell from the video but if the suction cups slide over far enough, you should be able to suction cup it to the wall/tiles anyway. We had a mobile home for years too and it was a PITA finding anything for it...even just regular bathroom fixtures!
