Bringing Home Baby: Hippeez Review & Giveaway

I love cloth diapers. Everyone knows that by now. I have a TON of diapers, but I still love trying new kinds and new brands. 

I received a diaper from Hippeez for review. 

We received a Flannel Fitted Diaper in the Monsters fabric for review.

These diapers are totally custom! First you choose what gender fabric you like, then it takes you to a page where you select size, the inner lining, the soaker material and what kind of touch tape (velcro) you want, regular or crossover. So it's totally custom! Which I LOVE. 

I chose the size 1 (8-14 pounds) but it can go a bit smaller than that due to the crossover tabs. Then I chose the fleece inner,  with a 100% cotton inner (we don't like microfiber) then the crossover tabs. So this diaper was totally custom and I LOVE that!!!

Here is Emerson at 4 days old in his diaper! He was still 7lb 6oz on Thursday, so probably just a few ounces bigger now and didn't even need the crossover tabs!

 It covers his cord so we probably won't use it too often until it falls off!

He's got a long way to go in it though! It will fit him for a while.

It's pretty absorbent and it held in a big poo so that's all it's really needed for!!

AND, she had the diaper made in about 3 days! 

The fleece is so soft inside and I like that there's no microfiber. For a newborn this works okay because you change them SO OFTEN, but for an older child I would recommend getting the cotton/microfiber inner. 

Her sizing is Preemie (3-7 pounds), Newborn (6-10 pounds), Size 1 (8-14), Size 2 (12-18), size 3 (16-28 pounds), size 4 (22-37), size 5 (27-35 pounds) and size 6 (35+). 

The one thing I like about this is you'll always get a perfect fit. But the thing I don't like is that you'll most likely need to buy a few sizes along the way! This can kind of become a pain, but her pricing totally makes up for it!

Price: Her size Preemie-Size 4 are $11.99, if you want a sherpa inner it's $.50 more and crossover tabs are $.50 more. Other than that, $12 is pretty standard. Size 5 and 6 are $2 more. So this is a very affordable diaper!
