Bringing Home Baby: Babyville Boutique Review & Giveaway

Did you all know that Joann's Now carries cloth diaper making items? It's all from the Babyville Boutique line and is all you need to make your baby's own cloth diapers and covers!!

I was sent a wonderful package to review and I can't wait to share this all with you!! It's so awesome!
Everything I was sent. A book on how to make diapers and covers, a book on other baby essentials, a roll of hook and loop, a roll of FOE (Fold Over Elastic), a pack of snaps and a package of 3 cuts of PUL.

My First cover! I already had the snap pliers I needed to apply snaps. This is a NB size cover.

Needed an extra layer behind the snaps to reinforce them.

Second Cover I did in Hook and Loop.

I ran out of the FOE there near the wing. I'll get some more and go over it and finish the cover off.

So the FOE they sent me was enough for 1 3/4 NB covers. If you're doing a large cover it would just be enough for one cover or diaper. For me this isn't enough.
They do sell them in packs of 2 though, but to get 2 covers out of it... It's a bit much.

The cuts of PUL are just enough for 1 cover each. I MIGHT be able to get a second cover out of it. If not I'll do a half and half cover. Half the solid and half a print. It will make it last longer.

I have enough hook and loop for one more cover. Possibly 2 if I don't put it all across the front. But I wanted to do this for better sizing.

Both these covers are NB. There are patterns in there for NB, Small, Medium and Large and there are also insert patterns if you're making an AI2 diaper! Which I might actually take some flannel that I have and make a couple inserts out of them to lay in these covers.

VERY easy instructions. Once I cut out the PUL I had the diapers constructed in about 20 minutes each. The velcro one was faster as it's not as time consuming as the snaps.

Everything was very easy though and this can all be purchased at Joann's (they also have snap pliers and PUL by the yardage as well). So it's very easy to get good quality cloth diapering supplies!

Price: The FOE is $6.99 (remember you can use coupons when these aren't on sale!!). The PUL yardage is $14.99 a yard (again, coupon can be used). 3 cuts of the PUL are also $14.99. Packs of snaps are $7.99

Overall: ***** The FOE was very easy to use!

*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Babyville in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to Babyville for allowing me to review this product and offering a giveaway

  10. I spotted this line at Joann's a few weeks ago & was so excited! My first granddaughter arrived two months ago but before her arrival I had made her dozens of diapers, I wish this had been available then! This line is super cute! My favorite is the Sweet Stuff Butterflies and Cupcakes assorted PUL packaged fabric.
