Redi Shade Simple Fit Review & Giveaway

We have those crappy vertical blinds in this house. There are horizontal back in the dining area and in the kitchen, but all other rooms have the vertical. I hate them. Avery has torn hers off. She was missing 5 of them!! I had the windows open this past fall and the wind blew hard and one broke right off. They're hard to keep from falling and we're missing blinds all over the house.

I contacted Redi Shade one day and they agreed to a review!!! I couldn't believe it. He told me I could choose the shade I needed from the Simple Fit line and go from there. They are all the same length of 72" so I just needed to put in which one I wanted and the width I needed.

In order to measure for the width, I measured the top of the window, the middle and the bottom. The top and bottom were the same where as the middle was about 1/4" wider. I went with the smaller number so I could ensure a good fit. This shade was for Avery's room as she's constantly picking on her blinds and it wasn't very dark in her room anymore for naps. So this was a great room for this shade.

I decided on the Black out shade in Cream!
Here is what came in the package. The shade is in that clear package. The other parts that MAY be needed were in the yellow bag.
The bubble wrap was for Avery's play :)

The hardest part was getting her existing blinds down!!! But that is done in this picture.
Not the best color for the room, but we're planning on painting soon.
Her window is crooked (apparently) and there is a little light coming through the side. I could've mounted it a BIT higher as well.
It was SOOO easy to install. You have no idea. I didn't get a picture of the mount, but on the left side you peel off a backing to a sticker. You stick it where you want it. On the right side you peel off the sticker, Put it where you want it, THEN you push a trigger button on the mount and it pushes it out TIGHT against the window. This thing is not coming down easily! EVER. It's in there so tight, Avery was pulling on this shade the other day and it stayed put.

I loved how easy it was to install. The entire process which involved getting the blinds down was under 15 minutes. That included reading the instructions first. So I was very pleased with how quick this was. Also excited because when we buy more for the rest of the house I can have them all installed in an afternoon very easily.

Also, I was told by the PR rep that it would be 6-10 days before it shipped and he would let me know when it did ship. NOPE. He never let me know and I had it within 4 days of that email!!!! I was so shocked!!!

I loved the whole process. Couldn't believe it was here that fast.

Price: These Custom Shades are between $99 and $253 depending on the style and size you need and choose. My shade came to $202 for 45" width (I think that's what the width was)

Overall: ********** the whole ordeal was AWESOME! Shipping was fast, checkout and setup was SUPER quick and easy and the shade looks AWESOME.
*Disclaimer* I received these products directly from the Company for Review. I was not paid to try out these products*
