Who doesn't love makeup? Who doesn't like it in their stocking at Christmas? That's why this is in the Holiday Gift category. This is a great stocking stuffer for a woman of any age. Your teen daughter, aunt, niece, yourself etc.  You wear makeup from 14-94 so isn't it a great basic gift for any woman? I think it is. 

First and foremost, I love Geek Chic Cosmetics website. It's so upbeat and spunky and fun. The names for the makeup they have chosen is awesome. 

I received 4 samples of Eye Shadows. I got the Ebon Blade, Tricks of the Trade, Green 'Stache, and Triforce. I love them all equally.

Ebon Blade looks dark. It's not nearly as dark as it looks on here. I love this shade. It's the right shade for a smoky eye look (but not BLACK). My favorite is Triforce though. I truly love this color. I have blue eyes, so brown shadow looks great on my eyes. That's why I'm more for the Triforce and Ebon Blade. I also go for Green's. I like the Green 'Stache, but it's not the right shade. I do like it though, and it looks great paired with the Tricks of the Trade. Together they make a great look.

Unfortunately no pictures of me sporting the shadows, but I will admit. In the 2-3 weeks I've had these shadows Triforce is almost gone!!! But these were sample sizes, so I got a lot out of them.

No don't just think that Geek Chic only has eye shadows because that's FAR from the truth. They also carry Lip Gloss and Lip Stick, Foundation, and Blush. So it's really enough to get you through the day!!

Price: The eye shadows are $4.99 for a full size 5gram jar. Worth it and a very competitive price.

Overall: ***** the shadows didn't crease (awesome!) and they stayed on all day.
