We received a few Christmas cutters.

Without the tags
Each cookie cutter comes with a recipe for Homemade dough and homemade frosting! Here's the deal. I was going to make some cookies to show you all here. BUT I stuck the dough in the freezer to cool and we don't have a rolling pin, when I pulled it out I flattened with my hand, which warmed up the dough. I couldn't do cookie cutters. It didn't work because it was too warm. Nothing worked. So I made regular cookies using Ann's recipe and frosting. They were sooo good. The frosting wasn't too sweet and it was just right.
So I haven't really gotten a chance to use these cutters yet, but I fully intend on getting a rolling pin very soon so I can make these cookies. Then I'll update.
The cookies were very good though. Delicious actually.
Price: The Cutters are $3.99 individually, or $14.99 in a set of 5. $9.99 in a set of 4. Decent prices I think.
Overall: ***** Like them so far. They seem sturdy, I'm sure I'll get 20 years out of them.

ReplyDeleteWell, the Christmas set is my #1 but I would also go with the biscuit set. It sounds crazy but good biscuits depend on a good cutter. If it doesn't cut smooth (like a plastic one or the glass my mom used) it seals the edges and they don't rise as well.
