Dishwasher Art Review & Giveaway

Is your dishwasher ugly? Ours is. When we moved in here we had a white dishwasher that matched the rest of the kitchen. Well it stopped working after about a year to a year and a half. So we bought a new one. Well it didn't come in white and we loved it, so we bought black. It looked funny in our mismatched kitchen. Plus appliances are ugly and plain anyway. Enter Dishwasher Art one of the coolest inventions ever!!

You can choose from magnetic or adhesive. Magnetic can be moved and adhesive can't. Luckily our dishwasher is metal (check that it can hold a magnet before ordering) So We settled on the New England Lighthouse image and it's just gorgeous. Our counters are green, the walls are blue, floors and cabinets are oak and appliances are white and black. I thought this image was PERFECT for our kitchen.

I absolutely love it. It brings such a new great look to the whole kitchen and it's great decoration. 

We measured our dishwasher first and it wasn't quite a standard size. I asked if she could cut like 1/2" off one side so it would fit and she did that for me. It fit perfectly. It took a couple tries to get it straight, but once I did it's beautiful. It did go on easily and repositioned just as easily, one thing though is it makes the door heavy. So when I open it and let it go it slams down. The adhesive one I'm sure won't be as thick and heavy, but this one is. That's my ONLY downfall of this. 

They have so many designs to choose from. American flag to western boots to Christmas and holiday themes. Many different ones! 

They are all hand drawn by artist Marti Idlet and then they are transferred onto the sheet. To know that they are all hand drawn like that is amazing!

Price: At  between $55 and $70 for regular and $115-$125 for custom I think they are a little higher priced. But if you have a metal dishwasher and get magnetic they could last for years and years. Think about it. You could buy 3-4 of them for throughout the year and they could last a LONG time. 

I would like this Halloween one, a Christmas and then maybe 1-2 more for throughout the year!! So cute

Overall: **** a little pricey, but these are handmade!
