Tropical Traditions Review & Giveaway

We've been trying to live and eat healthier. Oil is a big start to that. We were using Olive Oil most of the time, but Coconut Oil is much healthier, so I received some from Tropical Traditions.

If stored above 76 it turns to liquid. So when I received it, it was liquid. After a couple hours I went in the cupboard and was disgusted. It was solid. Like REALLY solid. I had no idea. I read the back of the label and found out why. It says you can melt it by sticking jar in some warm water, but I just spoon some out when I need it and stick that in the pan. 

It stinks really bad. Not like coconut, but I love it for cooking. It doesn't hinder the taste of the food at all. I like it much better for cooking actually. It is much more pleasant to work with. Once heated it doesn't really even have a smell, like olive oil can have. 

Here's all the Different Ways Coconut can be used. This is really interesting and has some great recipes.

Price: 32 oz is normally $37.50 which is a lot, Right now it's on sale for $27.50 though. Not too bad!! It will definitely last a while

Overall: ***** I love cooking with it and I know I can use it for so much more than cooking.
