Audiovox Review & Giveaway

We've all heard of them. They make some great electronics. I was able to review the D1809 Portable DVD player and I love it! We received this item a few weeks ago and Avery has gotten plenty of use out of it.

It comes with a remote, a home charger and a car charger

We love this player. It's an 8" so it's plenty big for Avery to watch. This will be awesome for our HUGE trip in July. I can't wait to use this on such a long Journey!

The one thing I DON'T like about it is that you can't charge it while it's playing. So on our trip Avery will have to watch a movie, shut it off, charge it and then let her watch another movie. Not that big of a deal, as I don't want her to watch movies back to back anyway.

This will be perfect for going up to visit my grandma. She's 2 1/2 hours away. So for Avery to sit and watch a 1 1/2 or 2 hour movie would be PERFECT! We go and visit her a few times in the summer. 

So far I'm loving this player though. When I don't feel like turning on the T.V. I let Avery sit with this in the living room.

In our living room we have a projector and it has bulb life. Well the bulbs are $300 to replace, so we don't like to use it so much, and out T.V. is in our bedroom. I sit in the Living room and do my computer or I'm cleaning so I don't want her in the bedroom. So I put her in our recliner with a movie and she loves it too.

You can also use headphones so we can't hear it. AWESOME for our upcoming trip. I don't want to be hearing 3-5 hours of DORA!!!!

Other than that one beef, I love it!

Price: This player is worth $158 but is on sale for $99. Now is the time to get it. That's an awesome deal!!

Overall: ***** Love this unit and I'm sure I'll love it even more after some trips.
