Seventh Generation Review & GIVEAWAY

It's time to start Spring Cleaning. What does that mean? Well it means a LOT of harsh chemicals. You need one cleaner for windows, one for counters, one for dusting (pledge for instance), one for cleaning the carpet, one one one... There's about 8 different types of cleaners in my cabinet. Bathroom, windows, floors, carpet, multi surface. Yada Yada. When most people spring clean they do it with the windows open, but all those chemicals still get into our system and our lungs. Who knows what all those chemicals would do to us over the course of 10 years, 25 years or even 50 years. 

So that's where Seventh Generation comes in handy. Seventh Generation was kind enough to send a Free and Clear Home Starter Kit to us for Review. 

All but the Disinfecting products are free and clear so there's not harsh smells, dyes, or chemicals. She included the 3 disinfecting products because she said they were also all natural and she wanted to me try them. They smell so light and gentle I like the disinfecting ones!

I don't care for the smell of the Free and Clear cleaners. The detergent and softener have ABSOLUTELY no smell, but somehow the cleaners do and it's kind of stinky. But once you clean something it doesn't hold in the smell so it goes away in just a few minutes. Just a minor complaint! Other than that I absolutely love all these products.

So far I've used the Multi Surface cleaner for the counters, dishwasher, inside the fridge, and Avery's placemat. They've all cleaned up so nicely with this product.

Price: Each item is about $5-$8. The entire Free and Clear Kit like I received minus the Disinfecting products and paper towels is $30!! That's a good price for 6 cleaners and a reusable bag. WOW!

Overall: **** Very pleased. These are environmentally friendly. No harsh chemicals OR dyes and they are very cost effective.
