If...Luckily the gas smell on our clothes has faded. If you open the dryer it smells like gas, but the smell is no longer on the items. And our furnace was smelling like kerosene for a while there. <br />It seems to be fading now and it's only been a week. I only do laundry on the weekend too except for diapers. So it hasn't been through too many loads before the smell is almost gone! It depends on what you are ...I just had to comment! It depends on what you are using to stain. My husband was staining this weekend too! We used TimberSoy and it has NO SMELL, none, no harsh chemicals. That was a top priority for us with two little ones in the house and the staining was being done in their room. We bought it online, home improvement stores don't sell it unfortunately.
