I attended a complimentary event at Kroger for the sole purpose of this post.
New Prep+Pared Meal Kits from Kroger! These are so amazingly perfect for a busy family on the go!
Measured and Prepped and ready for you, all you have to do is cook it! My favorite part is they are 'elaborate' meals, but they ALL cook in under 20 minutes, so they taste amazing (like you slaved all day ;) but they are SUPER easy and very easy to impress someone with your 'skills'.
I was able to attend an event at my not-so-local Kroger and try out a meal of my own! I chose the Shrimp Scampi with Lemon Garlic Fettuccini and I was not disappointed.
All the ingredients, ready to read the instructions and get to cooking!
When I say this was easy, this was incredibly easy!! Now, I'm a cook, I love to cook and love to be in the kitchen, but the way the instructions were laid out, this is something ANYONE can do. And I saw people at this event with all different skill levels making these meals with ease.
I was the first one done though and had my meal completed in just 11 minutes. YES!! 11 minutes from box opening to eating! INCREDIBLE!
And the meal was delicious! I think it could've used more garlic and maybe just a few more seasonings, but overall it was super super tasty and ridiculously easy!
The only thing I needed from my own kitchen was Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper! How easy is that?
Everything is pre measured in the package (except those few things above) and ready to go for you, I only had to cut a lemon in half to help prepare this meal and shake some salt/pepper shakers to help prepare this meal. It doesn't get easier.
I also got to take home a Carne Asada Steak meal and it too was easy, had a few more steps and took me 22 minutes (I ALWAYS overcook steak), but was simple and also delicious!
Each kit feeds 2 and is priced between $14 and $20 per kit. NO subscription needed which is my favorite part! Buy 1 a week, buy 3 a week, don't buy for 2 months, whatever you want! Works around YOUR schedule.
They have select kits that are Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan as well.
