I received a sample from Roots Up for the sole purpose of this review
I came across Roots Up when I was at our local Great Big Latch on in the beginning of August. I fell in love with her wonderful Maxaloone Pants!! They are so adorable and I just loved her prints! I was super elated when she said she'd be interested in working together with me!
Last month she sent me a pair of goldfish maxaloones and a small tub of her handmade deodorant!
The Maxaloones size 1 fit from 6 months to 3 years!!! YES seriously! These fit both my boys although my almost 3 year old is pretty skinny at about 24-25 pounds.
the back of them!!
The legs cuff to take a few inches off the inseam and make them fit for longer.
Here they are on my then 8 month old. I love the coverage of them. They fit great over our cloth diapers.
I love the longevity of the pants. So they fit my 9m old and they also fit my almost 3 year old with some room to grow! They are truly great and I want to get more since I know he can wear them for a long long time! AND they fit wonderfully over our cloth diapers!!
They are made of high quality stretchy material and her sewing/serging is impeccable. These look so professional and I know they'll last a long time because of the quality.
Her deodorant is all natural and contains, diatomaceous earth, arrowroot powder, baking soda, shea butter, essential oils, coconut oil, and beeswax. It smells really good and really seemed to have worked really well. BUT I react to baking soda and have had this issue with other deodorants as well. So unfortunately I can't use it. But it did work well when I was using it except for the itch...
Just know that this is a reaction I have had to the baking soda. It is NOT Natalie's deodorant in particular.
She makes so many other wonderful items. She does tops, hoodies, car seat ponchos (I'll be buying one soon), skirted maxaloones and so much more!
Price: Her maxaloones are $28 per pair, the deodorant is $9 for a 4oz pot.
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Roots Up in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
