Nearly Ravioli Recipe

There's always that one comfort food for every family... For us, it's this!! We love it so much and it has a WHOLE 10oz package of spinach in it, kind of takes away the guilt of eating all that pasta and cheese ;)

Nearly Ravioli

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
1 cup chopped onion
1 tsp minced garlic
3.5 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
1 large jar pasta sauce
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sugar
1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 cup cottage cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese

PROCESS:
Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Cook bow tie pasta in boiling water for 2 minutes less than package recommends. Drain. Add pasta to ground beef. Combine pasta sauce, tomato sauce, pepper and sugar. Stir in spinach, cottage cheese, eggs and Parmesan cheese. Add to ground beef and pasta gently. Place in greased baking dish. Stir. Place in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with more Parmesan and serve hot.

Love the fact that you can substitute beef for turkey. Thanks for sharing!

This recipe looks delicious and I do love spinach with my pasta dishes. I would even make this without the meat, vegetarian style.
