Baby's Journey Review

I received a sample from Baby's Journey for the sole purpose of this review
Having children, typically means you need a baby gate. Once those kids get mobile it's nice to be able to keep them in one safe place to protect them. I never used a gate with either of my kids but I know I'll need one for baby #3. The Baby's Journey gate is truly perfect, it's compression mount so there's no tools needed and it's super easy to put up and take down.

We were going to move and I NEEDED a gate for the stairs. Moving didn't work out, but it is still nice to have this gate for our current hallway. It will allow the older kids to play in their rooms and keep baby here in the living room with me once he's mobile.

The gate
The 4" and 8" extenders and the hardware kit (just 4 feet is the hardware)
It was really easy to install. You just pop the 4 feet into the ends and then pick up on the lever at the bottom. Pull out the little feet until it's flush with the wall and then push down the lever at the bottom. First I pulled out the top feet too much and the gate door didn't fit, so I had to redo it. But then I got it and we were good to go!!

 From the side

I love that there's no tools required. You just pop the feet in and you're good to go. It took me all of 5 minutes to get set up and ready to go. And another 3 to get it right the second time haha!

Overall the gate is really easy to use and it looks nice with any decor. I like that it automatically comes with the extensions to fit wider spaces and that they aren't sold separate. This is great even if the gate itself fits where you want it. What if you want to move the gate and need an extender, but they don't sell that gate anymore? Well now you have it just in case!

To open the gate you just pull the lock on the top and pick the door up. To close it you pick it up and then drop it down in place. Both take a few minutes to get it right, but over time it will be faster and faster.

Although we don't really need this gate right now, it will be great when the baby is a bit older to keep him out of the kids rooms while they play with small toys!

Baby's Journey also has nice bath tubs, Changing Pad covers, Portable high chair and more!

Price: You can get it from Buy Buy Baby for $89.99 (and use a 20% off coupon making it $72)

Overall: *****

That is a nice gate and it looks nice as well. When mine were younger we just had those wooden ones. I like this

I love that gate! We recently moved into a new home and we desperately need to get new gates that are a little bit more secure. This one looks well made and very safe.
