Apple Cinnamon Slow Cooker Oatmeal

This is the perfect meal to make the night before and have it ready in the morning. Everyone likes easy meals and this one is sure to please. Plus it's so forgiving you can add anything you want to it pretty much!

Servings: About 5-6

Ingredients:
2 apples sliced/diced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2tsp cinnamon
2.5 cups old fashioned oats (Instant or quick will be too mushy)
4.5 cups water
1.5 cups milk
OPTIONAL: Raisins/Craisins, Maple Syrup, Walnuts, etc

Directions:
Cut apples and put in bottom of slow cooker, top with brown sugar and cinnamon. Add oatmeal and water/milk. Add your raisins/nuts now if you wish to use them.

Put on low for 8 hours and it will be ready in the morning!

So yummy and so perfect for the fall that is now here.
I added craisins after the original picture was taken and I also put maple syrup on it after it was served in bowls.

I was just looking for a recipe like this! I figure if I get breakfast started the night before, my kids won't be stuck eating frozen waffles every day lol. Not that they complain, but still. :)
