Use Save1 and Make a Difference

Let me introduce you to a company who is truly making a difference. That company is Save1. Save1 is a wonderful website that allows you to shop through them and save money with other retailers. Consider them the middle man of sorts. But what makes them more amazing then any other company, when you make a purchase through on of the retailers Save1 will provide a meal to a hungry child.

We all know that malnutrition in children is huge right now. But did you know that 17,000 children die PER DAY from malnutrition? 17,000. Let that sink in for just a minute. 17,000!!!! If you can save just 1 of their lives wouldn't it make it worth it? The wonderful thing with Save1 is that you save money while you're doing it. Their slogan is "Save Money. Save Lives!" and it's so true! You can save money, get what you were going to purchase anyway, and feed a hungry child all at the same time.

You might be asking how a company can afford to feed these children? When you use a coupon from Save1 they get a small commission from the retailer. They then give away a portion of their commission to feed these children. This is truly an amazing thing that Save1 is doing. There really isn't a better way than to give back. We all know these kids need it.

Who Benefits?
Well, you do because you save money. The children do because they get fed a meal, not only that but it gives them hope for a future. Partners benefit because they'll be able to fulfill their mission of saving children's lives and Save1 benefits because they hope to eventually make a profit and continue helping those in need by spreading the word.
The organizations that work with Save1 and help this program include Action Against Hunger, Feeding America, Feed My Starving Children,  and Project Peanut Butter. These are well known organizations and I'm sure you've heard of at least one of them. They're reputable and honorable and you know that your purchase is truly going to a great cause.

If you don't make online purchases you can still HELP (free of cost). Like their  Facebook Page and they'll feed a child. Share the page and they'll feed another. I know you can all at least do that! You can feed 2 hungry children in the next 30 seconds. Sounds good to me :)

Please help out this WONDERFUL organization and feed some children. They deserve it!

It pains me to know there are children going hungry at this very moment. We try and donate food as much as possible and I explain to my 5-year old why.

That's just so awful. :( I'm so happy to hear that people are trying to do something about it however.

I really like companies that are also working for a good cause. It just makes me that much more willing to support them. :-)
