A Very Green Back to School Hop Sponsor Spotlight LUNCH SKINS

SimpleCityLife
Now that Avery will be starting school (2 more WEEKS!!!) it is time to think about lunches. At home I just make her a sandwich, give her some fruit and throw it on a plate or her placemat. But now that she'll be heading to school I need to pack more for lunches/snacks and I need to think about cost and garbage.
A great way to save some money AND garbage is reusable bags. So Lunch Skins sent me a Sandwich and a Snack bag for my review.

The sandwich bag is the perfect size for your regular ole sandwich, and the snack bag is great for some snack items. Although you could use the sandwich bag for snack items as well.

These will be perfect for packing her lunches in. I just hope she remembers to bring them home. But with almost nothing to be thrown away she won't even have to go to the garbage except with her food items (juice boxes anyone?!?!) She will have a reusable lunch box (not a brown bag) and then reusable bags for her food. So it should be easy enough for her to remember.

I love the prints of these too. The orange slices are adorable!!
I love that they close with very sturdy velcro and that they are made out of a lightweight quick drying cotton fabric, but they are waterproof inside, so just rinse them out and they'll dry quick.

They are BPA free, Pthalate Free and lead free so these really are perfect for lunches especially children's lunches.

Now I just need to find a great menu for children's lunches as I'm running out of ideas!!!

They also offer Sub Bags too!

Price: The Sandwich bags are $8.95 and the snack are $7.85. They also have an area for sale ones too!

Overall: *****
