Avery is getting to the age where she wants to start expressing herself. I used to always do her hair and always did cool, pretty things to it, but now that she has bangs it's harder to do these things. They look silly with bangs hanging down, so when Twirlyz contacted me I knew I had to try them. 

They don't look silly with her bangs at all!

Avery chose her colors and then she also sent along some charms for the bottom of the Twirlyz

 Since Avery's hair is kind of medium length, she sent us both her lengths to try. We got the Baby Pink large, Rainbow Large and then the Pink, White and Peppermint small. 

She also included 2 additional charms in a Rabbit and Flower

So to apply, you take a strand of hair and then hold the Twirlyz up at the top near the root, and then you twist the hair around it. At first I couldn't get it to stay. I didn't know if I was twisting he wrong way, hair wasn't thick enough or what, but eventually I got it. 

It was all of the above. I needed a thicker strand of hair and I was indeed twisting the wrong way!

They still don't stay in all that great in her hair. Her hair is super thin and nothing stays in really unless it's super tight. 

I think something that would help hold it in is possibly rubber banding it together with the hair at the top. Or maybe putting a rubber band in the hair at the base of the Twirlyz so it doesn't slide out. 

Because I know that if Avery was running around a lot, this would've slipped right out. 

It's mainly because of her hair. I tried one in my hair and it stayed no issues. My hair is a lot thicker, courser and has some wave to it. 

Her hair is just too fine and delicate! 

But it's so pretty, so we've been using them for around the house. It looks cute, but doesn't look silly with her bangs. 

Her hair is just below her shoulders and both lengths of Twirlyz look great in her hair. The large is a perfect fit and the smaller is smaller, but it still looks good.
