Emerson and I have pretty much given up wraps for now anyway. Last time I wore one in the grocery store was a disaster. I re tied it like 3 times, he was flopping out and pulling his arms out and was just wiggling. Prior to that he would fall asleep and it was no big deal, but now he wants to see everything that's going on and no longer sleeps in the grocery store. So I decided that from now on in the grocery store I need to use my structured carriers. That is the same for everywhere else we go pretty much too except at home.
But along with that, I knew I needed drool pads for the straps. Structured carriers are machine washable (most of them), but you want to limit how many times you wash them. So I knew I needed these because Emerson was constantly sucking on the wrap and it got NASTY!!
I contacted Little Trendsetters and she was happy to send me some Baby Carrier Pads for review.
I chose the Turtles/Dots ones!
They velcro either way, so you can have turtles OR dots facing out. I love that she has the sensory ribbons on there and she even includes a ring to attach a toy or 2 from!!
They velcro either way!
Right now we have the dots facing out. We have a brown carrier, so this works perfectly. I do love those turtles though and once I wash these pads, I'll switch them around!!
I love that they're machine washable. Just take the ring off and then throw them in. I would air dry them to maintain their shape, but other than that completely machine washable which is awesome!
These have been truly amazing so far. Emerson can JUST see over the carrier so his mouth is right at strap level and all he does is suck and chew on them especially with his teeth coming in, so these have been great. They're slightly padded too which is great to give him more to chew on, but also so that it absorbs the slobber instead of soaking through to the strap anyway.
We went strawberry picking yesterday and Emerson pretty much chewed on these the whole time!!
She has a ton of prints and patterns to choose from!!
And many more.
She also offers other things like Car Seat Pads, Baby Carrier bags, Bow ties and even some toys!!
Price: $12 each pair!! I'll probably end up buying another pair from her. I was going to make some of my own, but the $12 is worth it.
