Before Emerson was born we had decided that he would sleep in the bassinet part of the playpen. It worked out great. Some nights he would sleep in the swing and some nights in bed with us. The first 5-6 weeks was hard he only wanted to sleep on my chest, so that's where he slept all night long. ON MY CHEST in our bed. It wasn't the safest, but it's the only way he would sleep. Even next to me wasn't good enough for him.
After about 6 weeks or so, he started sleeping in the bassinet, but only on his belly of course.
NOW that he's sleeping through the night (8 hours and then 4 hours) it's time to think about getting a crib and moving him our of our room.
So I was delighted when NoJo contacted me about reviewing a crib bed set! I couldn't have been happier and the timing was pretty darn good as we're ready to get a crib really soon!
We chose the Animal Park and I'm totally in love!
Bumper is in 4 parts.
2 small parts like this
and 2 large parts like this
The bumper has 2 large sides, each one has 2 animals on it. I showed one bumper above so the other one has an elephant and lion on it.
I love this set. It is so doggone cute!! I can't get over how adorable it is.
You can kind of see the comforter in the first picture. I didn't want to take it all out of the package since we don't have a crib yet and I wanted it to stay inside the packaging!
It's very good quality though. All sew together so nice and the animals are fuzzy on everything but the sheet. They are so soft. It adds great texture to the set.
Unfortunately Emerson's crib is going to be in the playroom, it has red walls, so the valance probably won't be hung. We may or may not use the stacker. We might put some cloth in it and use it, but I'm not sure yet.
The bumper probably won't get used until he's older for risk of suffocation. BUT I love the set. It's just adorable! The comforter will probably hang on the wall until next winter when he can use that heavy of a blanket better.
I do love it though. It is the most adorable boy set on their site (I think).
