The Green Kangaroo Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Yes, I am one of those crazy new moms who actually stays up later than their baby! Emerson was in bed at 11:30! It's 12:20 and I'm up blogging!!! Oh boy. Luckily he's a good night sleeper. He'll wake up around 4 and then again at 8!
As Emerson's birth was impending I kept thinking about Birth Announcements. I knew I wanted to get them done, I never did with Avery, but knew I wanted to this time around.
I came across The Green Kangaroo and knew I wanted my announcement from there!!

I chose the Preppy Monogram in the blue color!
I finally got around to taking the PERFECT picture when he was 1 week old!

How they arrived!
Our Extra Copy was on top in the envelope!
Of course they needed to use GREEN tissue paper right??
We got the return address on the envelopes too!
 Nicely wrapped in the sleeve
Overall it was a super easy and nice experience. The hardest part was choosing which announcement to go with. I let Jon choose though as I always choose everything for reviews, so I wanted him to help. AND it was for our Son's Birth Announcements after all. He deserves a say!

You send them the info you want on it and they proof it up for you. They ask you if everything looks okay, if not you get a second proof for free. After that they charge!

Luckily ours was dead on the first time. They got his name and all his stats right!! It worked our nicely!!!

Our other favorites for announcements

Each announcement comes in girl and boy colors and each one has like 3 different colors to choose from!! It's really cool!!!

They also have Wedding Invitations

Holiday Cards

And a ton more!

They also offer addressing on them for your recipients. So they could come with everyone's addresses on them already! They offered it to me, but I didn't know who all was going to be getting an announcement. I received 25 announcements for review. I think we sent out 15(ish).

The total for 25 announcements with the Return Address was $55. This is very reasonable and so worth it!!

The only thing I wish they had was more of a glossy card. This is more on just a matte cardstock and I wish they had more of a pop to them. But other than that I was super happy with the process and the look!

Oh and they told me they would take up to 2 weeks to ship out. I think they shipped out in about 5 days (about 2 days after I approved the proof) and they arrived at just over a week!! So I was very happy that they didn't take that long!!

Price: Stated above. 25 announcements with return addressing was $55

Overall: *****
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Green Kangaroo in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to Green Kangaroo for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway

i liked dandelion. it's kinda weird having a weed on a birth announcement, but being seed it makes me think of new life and cute kids playing in the summer blowing them. i think it works perfect for birth announcement.

I would love the Seersucker announcement. Due with a Baby girl in less then 2 weeks, this would be great to win.

I think I'd go with heirloom, though I did like several others, I think it depends on whether I have a boy or girl!
