My Beautiful Girl Bowtique Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

We love bows here. If only you saw Avery's bow corner. I have 2 bowholders for her that are COMPLETELY full of bows, headbands and hats. She wears one almost every day. We love them. I need another holder now that I think about it.

We received some lovely new bows to try from My Beautiful Girl Bowtique and I'm excited to share them here with you.
We received a Piggy clip set, a Korker bow and a Everyday Bow
Bit more accurate colors of the purple korker. It's flipped, but you can still see them.
We love these all. They are put together so nicely. They look very professional and are seamless. I love her everyday bow. It's tied so perfectly.

I made hairbows for a while there, but could never get them tied just right. I gave up after a while so I know how hard it is to tie these suckers so perfect and I give props to those that can figure it out!

She has a ton of bows to choose from in lots of colors. She also does Tutus, Bow Holders and wipe cases. She has Halloween bows out now too!

Avery doesn't have a Halloween bow yet! She has quite a few other holidays though!

I love her bows and I will be buying from her again. They're just so pretty and perfect.

Price: Her Korker like I received is $8. She has pigtail sets which are a bit smaller for $7. And the clippie set I received with the attachments are $5 for the pair. Good prices.

Envirosax Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I've really been into using reusable shopping bags lately. Kroger used to offer $.05 off your order per bag and then they did 100 gas points instead. Target offers $.05 off your order per bag and so they really are a great incentive to use them.

I have accumulated quite a few of them over the past few months, but one of my favorites is definitely Envirosax. I have to say I love the durability of this bag.

I received the Optimistic Bag 2 in the Graphic Series and it's beautiful.

Has folding instructions right on the tag.
And yes, I can fold it up and get it as small as it arrived again!! I love when I can fold up something to it's original state, because it doesn't happen too often.

I love the print on this bag. It's modern, funky and yet cool!

The bag holds up to 44 pounds!!! Seriously!!! I'll never have that many groceries in it. Although I put 31 pound Avery inside and it indeed did hold her. No straining on the bag and it didn't look like it would give any time soon.

I've maybe had 10-15 pounds in it at once and that was enough for me to carry and it didn't strain the bag one bit. The bag did it no problem.

The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't have a sturdy bottom, so it's kind of hard to get the first couple things inside without holding it open.

There are lots of styles and series to choose from. Something for everyone.

Price: $8.95 for the size I received. Worth it!

Overall: *****

Andalou Naturals Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Natural Skin Care is definitely one of my favorites as everyone here knows by now.

I received a product to try from Andalou Naturals and I just adore it. I received the Lemon Sugar Facial Scrub. I also got a TON of Samples!

I've used the scrub a few times now. Usually once or maybe twice a week. I love it. It makes my face feel smooth, clean and detoxified. It gets rid of the impurities from sweat, makeup and just being outside in general! It smells really good too.
Here's what I really like about it. You dampen down one hand. Use a dry hand and scoop some onto the wet hand. Then use your hands and rub and it actually lathers up. Then apply to your face and scrub around for a minute. Then rinse with warm water! It's really neat.

I've also tried a few of the samples and I love those just as much.
The Mandarin Vanilla shower gel was awesome. It was just enough for one wash and it smelled awesome. It rinsed off completely and didn't leave any residue.
The Kukui Cocoa body butter was amazing as well. The smell was divine and it moisturized nicely without leaving me greasy.

I also got some cleansers, creams and masks!

All the products I've tried have been nothing but stellar so far. I'm loving Andalou.

Price: The Scrub for 1.7oz is $14.95 this is so generous. I love this price. It's something that you use 1-2 times a week so it could easily last 4-6 months at that price.

Overall: *****

Beco Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I contacted Beco well over a year ago about a review. Never really heard back from them. BOY was I surprised when I got an email about a month ago asking if I wanted to review a product!! How exciting was that?

It was nice to know that even if I didn't get a response before, they are reading and paying attention!

So I was offered my choice of Beco Mini. I told him I'd be interested in either the Carnival or Natalie.
I was shocked to open my box and find BOTH of them in there!! How generous!
They come in their own little carrying case.
Each one has instructions on them!!
When you put the carrier on the front, you just cross over the straps and attach them to the sides.
 Natalie! It's so cute!
You can see where it snaps on the front/side there
 Carnival. I love this print.
When you have the carrier in back. Instead of just crossing them, you twist them like you're going to tie them in a bow and then snap them. It keeps the straps away from child's neck.

We both love them. They're super easy to do. She can even KIND OF do the front carry herself. She's been figuring it out.

She asks me multiple times a day to put on her carrier for her so she can wear her dolls. She loves it and so do I. It's a great learning skill for her now so she can one day wear her own babies!

I love the prints they come in. These are the two girliest. There's also a cow print and a Paige print. It's grey but does have white flowers on it, but I think it's neutral. So boys can easily wear their babies too!

I won a Beco Gemini on a blog a long time ago and I loved it with Avery for a while there. I don't wear her anymore, one because she's plenty big enough to walk places and two because I'm pregnant and don't think it's for the best.

But I can't wait to use it again when baby comes!

Price: The Mini is $29. It's worth it.

Diaper Safari Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Ain't that the truth!! haha

This is a wonderful company. They offer everything from Diapers, to wet bags, to baby carriers, to nursing clothes and more! I love a one stop shop!

Diaper Safari has it all! I was able to receive the new Planet Wise Sports Bag.
I chose the Peace on Earth.
It arrived within just a few days (4-5 I think) so it was super fast.
 Outside small zipper
It has a pocket for wet things, the green pocket on top. And a pocket for dry items, the brown pocket on bottom.
It cinches up really tight too.

Although this bag is great for going swimming or to the gym, I also think it's really great for a quick outing with baby.
In the dry pocket you have a couple diapers, wipes, wallet, cell phone and keys (maybe change of clothes too). In the wet section is a used diaper.
Heck keys and phone can go in the little zipper compartment.

I think this is a very versatile bag and is great for anything you can imagine it for. I'm sure we'll be using it quite a bit when baby gets here.

But for now it would be great for going to a friend's house siwmming.
Wear our swimsuits there. Pack a change of clothes in either section really and then put our wet bathing suits in the wet section to come home in!! Best part is it's Machine Washable! So come home, dump your stuff in the washer and then throw in the whole bag!!

It's also great for the gym too.
They come in a ton of different colors.
It's 17" X 15" and the front zippered pocket is 9" X 8". So it's a generous size.

Price: This bag is $24.99 which I think is worth it.

Overall: ***** it's a great little bag with multiple uses.

Lovable Labels Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

When I first started hearing about Lovable Labels I didn't really have a need for them. They were mostly for children's labels for shoes and clothes and backpacks and since Avery wasn't in school yet there was no need for them.

When I got a contact fro Lovable Labels I was actually really excited to see they had released some new products that I could actually use.

I've been looking for plain return address labels for a while now. I always get the seasonal ones or pet ones from the ASPCA, but sometimes there's a need for something a little more plain. So I got to choose my favorite and order them.
I received the Denim labels for my review... Stock photo, NOT mine!

I ordered them and obviously they're all custom printed since it's your name and address and they were here within a WEEK!!! That was awesome and fast I thought.

They come in a pack of 240. So I know I won't run out for a VERY long time!! VERY long time. 240 will last me probably 10 years!

I mainly only send out Christmas cards and we have Christmas labels with all of our names on them already, so those are taken care of (Although I'll need new ones soon because of baby boy!!).

So these are just for everyday things I sent out, which isn't much! But I'm glad I have them. Some people just don't deserve the cute flowers and puppies and Christmas presents around that time. And sometimes certain cards call for something a little more tuned down and these denim are perfect.

They have a lot of other Address Labels to choose from!

They also have lots of other products to choose from. They have kids labels, Zip It tags, Book Worms labels. They also have household labels for Crafty Mom, or outdoor bin or home office. And lots more!

Price: For 240 Labels these are $18.50 CDN that is SO WORTH IT!!

Overall: *****

Leave Me B Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Have you ever seen those cute maternity tops with cute little sayings or emblems on them? Because I have and I swore that the next time I was pregnant I would have 1-2 or more of them! Some are so cute with little footprints on them and such.

I received 2 tops from Leave Me B for review.
I got the I'm Due in December tank top and the Don't Touch my Belly Long Sleeve Top

Overall I like them A LOT!
They are by American Apparel and their standard OS shirt is an XL. The tank fits but I find it gathers up at my shoulders, there's a little extra length on it and it may not last all pregnancy, but it's a tank top so I was only expecting to wear it through September or October at the latest anyway.

The tee is SUPER soft and comfortable. It is a little long in the sleeves and has a bit of a bigger feel around it, but since it's long sleeves it will be worn in October, November and December when I'll be large, so that's great!

Overall I like them both though.

There are lots of maternity to choose from at Leave Me B, there are also mother and father shirts. Kids shirts and onesies and other tops to choose from as well. But primarily they are a maternity/parenting site.

Price: The Long Sleeve Belly shirt is $20 and the tank is $16. So it's a great CHEAP way to get personalized items.

Overall: *****
I do think they should offer 2 sizes of the shirts. I know they run small, but we're not all truly OS, so maybe in like Medium and XL?

Petite Bottoms Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Now that I've written one Cloth Diaper review, I want to write more!! I miss it!!

From this WONDERFUL company Petite Bottoms I was sent a Rumparooz G2 Snaps OS diaper. I also received a Cloth Wipe as well as Redemption Soap in a 32/60 load.
Out of all my cloth diapering days, I have yet to try a Rumparooz! I also bought 2 Lil Joey's for when this babe gets here, so I hope I like them!
 The wipe! Flannel
Smallest setting and it is TINY. I do believe them when they say this diaper fits from 6-40 pounds. It really does get that small. It might be a bit bulky on a newborn, but I guarantee there won't be any gaping or leaking!
Inside, they are known for that double gusset.
 Pocket Opening
Insert has numerous different size settings. It's the 6R soaker so it has 6 options.
Here is how it came which is the Medium setting, great for when you need both inserts.
Separated the Newborn soaker on the right and the small soaker on left. Both great for the newborn stage.
How they snap together. This side snaps down and the other on top of it.
Boy setting, with all absorbency in front.
Girl setting with absorbency in middle
Don't remember sorry, possibly the largest setting!
TONS of options with the soaker, and it is a bit confusing, but the instructions are on the package it comes in. That wrapper. So keep it in the diaper drawer and on hand.

The diaper gets super small and it also gets really large. Guess I forgot to take those pictures... oops.

I can't wait to use this diaper on baby though. The inside is a super soft fleece and it will be great against the important bits. Nice and soft.
The inserts are great too, tons of options for the perfect absorbency. I like the newborn soaker is contoured too so in between the newborns legs won't be too wide.

Seems to be the perfect diaper to me. It's also offered in Velcro.

I also love the soap I got. I tried it out on a few loads, but I'm keeping the rest for when I'm using cloth. The only thing I didn't like is that it's unscented though. I would prefer a light scent, but since they come out smelling scent free anyway I guess it doesn't make a difference.

This detergent got our clothes clean. They came out smelling just clean. Nothing scented left behind and it easily got deodorant out of clothes. Worked well for me!

There are lots of other things over at Petite Bottoms as well. They have tons of diapers, covers, inserts, prefolds, Strollers, baby wrap carriers, skin care and lots more.

Price: The diaper is $23.95, which is a little bit, but it will truly last from birth to potty training.

Overall: *****

Smartipants Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I have done a review on Smartipants before on their OS diaper and their Smart Fit OS cover! I loved both of them with Avery.

But this time I received their newest product. The Little Smarti Newborn diaper. I chose the Aqua Breeze Color as I didn't know what we were having then, but they only have 3 colors anyway. Pink, white and Aqua, so it was the best choice.

By looking at it I'm not so sure it will fit a newborn. It looks a little big. Maybe a 9 pounder, but not a 6-7 pound baby. It claims 5-12, but I'd say maybe 8-15? Maybe? It's hard to say because I don't have a newborn, but it seems too big for a 5 pound baby.

The only other thing I didn't like is the price. The OS diaper is $13.95 for one, but the Newborn which uses less materials? Is $17.95? EEK!!! $4 more for a newborn diaper that will last maybe a month or two?

I didn't get that.

OTHER than that, I like this diaper. It's an AIO with a Microfiber pad sewn inside the diaper and it's just an everyday diaper besides that. There's nothing too special about it, but I can't wait to use it on baby boy!

Price: Already mentioned $17.95 for the Newborn which is a bit high.

Overall: **** I'm sure the function is great, but it seems big and is more expensive then the OS.

Umi Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

This is my first year on the Umi team and I have to say, I'm super excited to get going with this wonderful company.

They make some very wonderful shoes for children of most ages. Newborn up to 8 years!!! That's a wide variety.

We received a wonderful pair of boots for this fall. We got the Radiant Boot in Black for Avery.
Avery is currently a size 10, so I ordered the 28 which is equivalent to a 10.5 so they'd fit her this fall. Well they JUST fit her now barefoot. She is for sure a 10 and even fits in a lot of 9s still. So I think the sizing is a little small.
So instead we were sent the 29s which is equivalent to an 11.5 and they fit her pretty good. A bit big, but with socks on and her jeans tucked into the boot they will fit her great!!

They look so big on her tiny legs, but these are the 28s that fit her perfectly right now. Just a bit wide at the leg. But again. She'll most likely have jeans tucked in there, so these work.

I can not wait until it gets cooler here and I can put these on with a pair of jeans and a sweater (possibly hand knit by me). Wouldn't that be adorable?

I love the possibilities with this boot too. It would be cute with leggings and a denim skirt or a corduroy skirt or some babylegs with a skirt. Or jeans, or corduroy pants or anything really!! So adorable!
I love the black too.

This boot is great. It bends almost completely in half so it is a great shoe/boot for growing feet. But yet it has a sturdier sole for older children.
This boot comes in Black, Cocoa Multi and Red. I really love all the colors.

They have released a TON of new shoes for this fall in all categories.

Adorable styles!!

Price: The Boots I received retail for $95 brand new. This is a bit much, but you only need 2-3 good pairs of shoes each season. So it's really not that bad in my opinion. Plus those are boots. Those last shoes there are $59. A big difference!!

Overall: ***** GREAT shoe company
