La-Moo Review & Giveaway

Cute clothes are found right here at La-Moo. Avery was sent the LuLu La- Moo Long sleeve top in Black.

I got one of the whole shirt, but can't find it.

It's Long Sleeve, Black, Size 4T and it gits just great!

Avery loves that she has a cow on her shirt. I need to get her at least one shirt with one of every animal on it. She loves her animal clothes and I wish she had more. This added just one more animal to her collection. It's a Cow of course and it's adorable. I love the snaps at the top as they allow the shirt some extra stretch to go over heads. Avery only needs one of them unsnapped to get it on. Her head isn't too big though.

It's been washed, it hasn't faded, shrunk or peeled off in any way. The stitching is still in perfect shape as well.

Price: The Tee I received is on sale for $12.73 from $15.73. They have cheap clothes.

Overall: ***** Love the price, the quality and the logo is super adorable.

Smart Bottoms Review & Giveaway

Since Avery is out of diapers, this will be my last cloth diaper review until a second baby decides to join us! I'm a little sad, but she's no longer in diapers and obviously it's wrong to review an item without being able to fully review it.
This diaper was agreed on being sent before Avery nap and Night Trained :( So unfortunately I wasn't able to fully give it a proper review. BUT I will review the materials and such.

Smart Bottoms is a hybrid system. It's a cover and a prefold insert!
Sorry for the Cruddy Shadow. The flash wanted to go off, but because it's white on white that didn't work well.
This is the cover They have 2 adjustable sizes.
Inside. It's REALLY hard to see, but it's a mesh material in there.

Boiron Review & Giveaway

I hate sickies, do you?  We had that stomach bug a while back and it was just terrible. I would never wish that on my worst enemy. I felt like I was dying. Thankfully it was only 36 hours and didn't last DAYS like the normal flu.

I get colds and sinus issues often though. I was lucky enough to receive a Cough, Cold and Flu value pack from Boiron for review.

See Baby Grow Review & Giveaway

Don't you love taking monthly pictures of your infants and children? I know I did when Avery was 0-12 months old. I took a monthly picture. It would've been so great to have See Baby Grow onesies then. They have a number on them so it shows how old they were in the picture. It's easier on you so you don't have to write on the back of the picture, or if you forgot to title it in your computer file, you will know how old baby was!!

We received the I Am Just A Few Days Old onesie for review. We are still trying to conceive #2 and I hope to be able to use this soon!
It is so tiny. I can not believe babies are this small when they're born!! Just can't believe it. This is a NB size (or 0-3?)

Eco Sprout Review & Giveaway

You know me and my green stuff!!

This time I received some samples from Eco Sprout. I got 4 detergent samples and a Bottom Spray in Lavender as well.
I received their 4 most popular detergent scents. Lavender Chamomile, Sandalwood Vanilla, Buff/Unscented and their seasonal Cinnamon Sticks!!

They all smell good. The Buff just has a nice clean smell to it. Every other one smells great. I think my favorite is the Sandalwood Vanilla though. It smells yummy.

The Bottom Spray smells great too, it has some key essential oils in it which are great for disinfecting and smelling great like Lavender and Tea Tree. It's also made from Coconut Oil so that's really good. It has oils in it, so I'm guessing it leaves a barrier on baby's bum and prevents from diaper rash.
They also carry the Bottom Spray in Orange Eucalyptus. The detergents also come in Fresh Linen and Warm Vanilla Sugar (YUM)

The detergent is easy to use, With these sample bags I just pour a little in, but with the full size containers you can also buy a scoop. Just put about 2-3tbsp in per load and you're good to go. The clothes come out smelling clean with a bit of scent on them. Once they go through the dryer though the scent usually dissipates!

Price: Sample bags are $1.75 and do 2-4 loads depending on top or front loader. 24oz bag which does 24-48 loads is $7.98 and the 48oz bag which does 48-96 loads is $13.98. I think these are very reasonable prices.

Overall: *****

Oh Katy Review & Giveaway

You might remember this brand in Katydid diapers? I've done a review for them before. They only had 4 colors then, The Sage, Pink, Melon (Orange) and Twilight, the 2nd darker blue one pictured. Now they have 9 colors which is AWESOME!!!
Now they're undergone the new name of Oh Katy, but I think they're just as great!!
We received the BlueBird color
Sorry for the shadow. Still figuring out the new camera
2 inserts, just like the last one!
So besides the new name change and the new label on these diapers and the new colors, these are EXACTLY the same. AWESOME!!

I love this color. The diaper still has the great front pocket that I loved on the old one. We have the Melon color of the Katydid and it was one of our favorites. I'm not a microfiber fan, but I would put a premium prefold or some hemp in it and it worked wonders.

We actually had a chance to try this one out. Avery spent the night at Grandmas, in a playpen, since she couldn't get out to use the potty I sent along one diaper the Oh Katy. Grandma commented on how great the new cloth diapers are and she's so happy I chose to cloth Avery and very happy I'll cloth the next one too.
I washed and dried the inserts 4 times before sending it along so I knew it wouldn't have repelling issues. She only peed in it, so grandma put it in a plastic bag and sent it home, I forgot the wet bag! DRR.

No leaks, The snaps were easy to adjust, the gussets seemed a little looser, not leaky looser, but more comfortable looser if that makes sense! Overall it's a great diaper.

No complaints though. It's a great diaper, just like the original. I love that she didn't change any of the great features, just revamped her company!

Price: $17.95. She also carries Rockin' Green on her site!

Overall: *****

Kokopax Review and Code

Good quality diaper bag, Isn't that one of the gear items all new parents try and find? Isn't it also one of the hardest decisions? I had a lot of trouble picking one out for Avery it was a hard decision. We eventually decided on an Eddie Bauer bag and I loved it.
However, had I seen a Kokopax from the beginning this is the one I would've gone with. In fact, there wouldn't have been any decision to make. This would've been THE BAG.

I received the new Samantha Diaper Tote for review in the Bubbles 3 pattern. I absolutely love this bag!!
So cute!

Top of the straps for a nice look, or you could turn them around and have a little bit of padding.
Feet on the bottom, VERY IMPORTANT
 Magnetic Closure!
 Included Changing Mat
 Inside. Adorable Monkey print!
It has a zipper and many pocket openings too.
 Pockets!

This bag is big, not too big, but big enough for a diaper bag. It's also great for a tote bag. It is the PERFECT size for the beach or when Avery goes to grandma's house for the night. It's just the perfect size for everything you need.

The material was great and strong. It is built REALLY well and it's very sturdy. Love the print and the monkeys were a surprise, but are just adorable and the perfect contrast.

It's adorable!

Kokopax also carries Baby Carriers as well as Sun Hats  for babies and some other accessories.

DISCOUNT CODE: heatherandavery2011 Which will give you 10% discount on any order.

Price: The Tote I received is $100. I paid $45 for my Eddie Bauer and I think this is so worth that price!! The Original Carrier (pictured above) is $150. I also think this is very reasonable.
You can get Kokopax products on http://www.kokopax.com/  and you can follow them on Facebook for announcements!

Overall: ***** Love the print, it's very sturdy and made well and it shipped pretty fast too.

Glamourmom Review & Giveaway

You all know we're trying to conceive. I definitely plan on breastfeeding my next child. I didn't know if I would emotionally be able to, but I'm definitely going to give it a try. I regret at least not trying with Avery so I want to try for my next baby.
Glamourmom is one of the leading brands for nursing bras and tanks. Of course I trust them because they are so widely talked about.

I received a Nursing Bra Full Bust Long Top for review. I'm currently a C cup, but they're size small goes from a D-DDD, I'm pretty sure I'll be a D while nursing. I was a D when I was pregnant with Avery so I can definitely see that happening with the next too. So I ordered this one in the size small, 32-36 D-DDD. So I think it's perfect.
I got it in the Grape, dark purple color and I can't be more happy with it.

LR Creations Review & Giveaway

Lori is a good friend of mine. We've been friends for a while now. Unfortunately she lives many states away.

She has just started her new business LR Creations. It's hair bows for girls!! You all know we love hair bows here. Avery wears them constantly.
a few Every Day bows. A St. Patrick's day Bow and a Valentine's bow were included.

I love them all!! The colors she chose all compliment each other nicely. I like when bows have a lot of colors in them and aren't matchy matchy because then there's no need to find the PERFECT bow for an outfit. If Avery's wearing pink or purple these bows will all work.

I love the piggy set of Black and White she included. SO cute and tiny. Avery can also wear one of them at a time too.

The holidays are adorable as well. The hearts she can wear any time. The clovers too really. I also like that Lori included a few different styles of bows for us to try out too.

I thought these bows were put together and made really nicely. They don't seem like they're going to fall apart any time soon. They are very nice quality and done well.

I started making bows for a while there and just didn't get the knack for it. These are WAY better than I could've done, so I guess it's better that Lori started the business and not me :)

She has many sizes to choose from. Mini, Small, Medium and Large. She also has flowers that she does and the fabric ones are adorable!

Price: Her large bows, like the most I received are $6.50. The 2 small piggy ones are $3 for both.

Overall: ***** put together nicely, nice colors and great quality ribbon. Her prices are good too!
