MelanSol Review & Giveaway

Finding natural Sun Care in the store is VERY hard. Unless you're at a place with a natural/organic section (like my Kroger) or at a health food store, The chances of finding it are slim. So I'm very happy to have all these options online to choose from when it comes to my family's skin.

MelanSol is definitely one I trust to protect my family without all those nasty chemicals.
I received the Natural Sunscreen in an SPF20. And I also received an Moisturizing and After Sun Lotion.

I wanted the SPF 20, Everything I have lately is a 30 and if we're only going to be outside for 20-30 minutes the 20 is all that's needed. So I decided on that. Or if it's a cloudy day. It's enough protection, but not overdoing it.  It's great for the face too and won't burn eyes. So this is truly great for the whole family.

The moisturizer I really like just as an every day lotion to be honest. It's absorbs in nicely, isn't greasy and doesn't have an overpowering smell. So it's great. But I've been trying to save it for those days when I get burnt. I usually get 2-3 good burns every summer so this will come in handy. I've had 2 already this summer... Since we'll be in Georgia next week I'm SURE I'll get another one!

I'm taking my Sunscreen AND my Moisturizer to Georgia with us. We'll be at the aquarium all day long and It will be nice to have these on hand!

Price: Moisturizer is $16.95 for 6 oz and the Sunscreen 20 is $23.95 for 6 oz.

Overall: *****

*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from MelanSol in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to MelanSol for allowing me to review this product and offering a giveaway

I learned that having a much higher SPF such as an SPF of 50 instead of an SPF-25 does not give you twice the protection because the UV protection is not linear.

I have sensitive skin so I was thrilled to learn: MelanSol® is hypoallergenic and contains absolutely nothing that can lead to an allergic reaction such as burning, itching or rashes, which is caused by chemicals in other products.

-I learned: Sunlight with its UV rays is essential for good physical and mental health. It is the main source of vitamin D, which is absolutely necessary for the absorption of calcium for strong bone reformation to occur. Lack of sunlight or the use of improper sunscreens (sun blocks) may lead to vitamin D deficiency.
