Mixbook Review

I was given the chance to review a 20 page Photo Book from Mixbook. I had done 2 of these in the past. One through Kodak and another through Shutterfly. They were both of Avery's 1st year and were CHEAP with a promotional discount.

I was very excited to get this review because We hardly ever print pictures, they're just sitting on SD cards. And this was a great opportunity to get some pictures 'printed'. I chose to do an Avery's 4th year (ages 3-4) because what else was there to do? Nothing.

I got the 20 page. It ended up being 21 for some reason and I couldn't remove that last page, so I paid $1 for it, not a big deal!
Here is what I saw when I got my book.
All pictures are in order as they are in the book and they are also in order from ages 3-4.
You could either choose a theme for your entire book, or choose each background individually. I chose different backgrounds.
Then they had these adorable stamps you could use on each page. You could resize it and all. That's where the Smile came from!
This owl was a stamp as well. The words were mine.
The fun and the flowers were stamps.

This one was cool. I added the sun and the words summer fun, then found a frame to put around it. It was fun to do.

The birds and Family were stamps
Sweet was a stamp. I love those polka dots.
 Had to add this one!!!!
 Back Cover.
Like I said process was easy. I uploaded all my pictures, then counted them and thought of how they'd work on the pages best.

The font was customizable, you could change the font size and design. You could make designs like stamps and words more opaque. You could make the pictures stand 'up' more and put a shadow behind them. It was fun all in all and I really enjoyed it.

Picking the pictures was hard since I took over 300 in that year. That took me probably 20 minutes. The process of putting the book together was about 25 minutes. I wanted to choose the right background, then I discovered the stamps haha!

It was fun and I would do it all over. It's a great way to capture the moment. Great for weddings, graduations, birthday parties, year books like this, a vacation WHATEVER you're heart desires. And you can choose how many pages you want too.

I was able to get the 8.5"X11" Landscape Book.  It comes with 20 pages which is $29.99 and each page after that is $1. So it's not so bad.

TOMOSON20 will get you 20% off on any purchase. It's one time per person but doesn't expire!

Overall: ***** Process was great. I loved doing this project and it's awesome to see it all come together in that final project.
