IntelliGender was one of those companies that I contacted AS SOON as I got the +. I knew that I was only 3.5 weeks then and this could be taken at 10 weeks so it wouldn't be too long of a wait. I got a super quick response back from Intelligender (about 3 days) and I had my test the following week.
I got the IntelliGender Test and she also allowed me to review their new line of IntelliCeuticals. I received the Nature's Nipple Prep.
Inside the box was my nipple cream, it also had the test container which has crystals in it. A syringe and a urine cup.
The steps are pretty simple.
You wake up in the morning and collect your first morning urine in the cup provided. You only need an oz so no need to completely fill it.
Then you peel the sticker off the top of the test cup
Insert the syringe into the urine and pull 20ml it's marked on the syringe.
Then you insert the syringe tip into the top of the cup, drop in all the urine, then swirl the cup around for about 10 seconds.
Set it on a white background and don't disturb.
My instructions said 5 minutes, but some say 10. I checked it at 5 anyway and this is what I saw
For reference the girl side...
IntelliGender says boy for me. HOWEVER. While doing some research. If you get a girl result you are over 95% sure to have a girl. If you get a boy result the chances are like below 50%... So I'm not sold.
Either way, it's a lot of fun, easy enough, affordable enough and cute. I wouldn't paint a room or buy a TON of clothes based on it, but it is fun.
By the way EVERYTHING I have checked for this one says boy. EVERYTHING. Not one thing says girl. I've been calling it a him for a while now too.
I guess we'll find out in about 8 weeks.
I have not reviewed the nipple prep yet. About 2-3 weeks before your due date, you rub this cream on your nipples a couple times a day. It's a natural way to prep your nipples for breastfeeding. It has a nice subtle scent to it. You can use it while nursing too, but you have to wipe it off before feeding baby.
IC025 will give you 25% off any Ceuticals purchase (Gender not included)
Price: The IntelliGender is $30 in stores and normally. Online right now for Father's day it's $27.99, if you buy 2 they're $24.47 each.
Even if you have 6 kids, isn't $30 a pregnancy still fun to experiment with?
Overall: **** Only because I don't know for sure what I'm having... So we'll see. But I thought the process was easy and simple enough. I also think it's a good price too. AND if you're baby is a different gender then the IntelliGender said within 30 days of the birth of your baby you can get a FULL refund from them. So they're backing up they're product.
