I got a Pea, Spinach and Apple, a Carrot, Squash and Apple, and a Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple. Avery loved them all. I sampled each and I thought they were good. The Apple is one of the sweetest fruits, so it kind of minimizes the veggie flavor of these. Plus the Sweet potato and carrot are very sweet as well.
I didn't care for the Pea and Spinach one, but Avery drank it right down!!
Avery still loves purees, call her crazy, but as long as she likes it I'll give it to her.
Her favorite breakfast is applesauce with infant cereal mixed in. She loves it. If She would've given me a chance I would've done the same with these to give her even more nutrients. But she ate/drank all 3 of these in the first day!! Little sneak. I'm not complaining though.
I think something like this is good to have on hand when your child refuses dinner for the night, they think they're getting a treat, but it's chock full of good fruits and veggies. So they're actually getting nutrients. Or those days when you realize all your child has eaten today is a few handfuls of cereal and a yogurt. This again gives nutrients!! Good to have.
So they now have 6 flavors to choose from! 3 fruit and 3 veggie.
Price: And at only $1.79 each it's worth it. Have 5 of them in the pantry at all times. That's not too much to ask!! You can get them on Amazon 10 of one flavor for $16.50 so that would be $1.65 each.
Overall: ***** Avery loved them. They have a nice smooth texture too so they would be good for young infants at 6 months or so.
