Jeans are my weakness. You all know that by now. I do honestly have over 20 pair. I was watching TLC's What Not To Wear the other day and this woman had 1 pair of jeans. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I thought "I could never be without my jeans, I don't think I could live without at least 10 pair". Now I received my Skinny Minnie Jeans in the heirloom color.

I normally wear a 4. According to their size chart I am a 2. That's what they sent and they fit very well! I haven't EVER been a size 2 (well maybe when I was like 13). Always a 4-6!

I originally asked for the Mystic or Black color as I only wear dark jeans... I hate light colored jeans and these are no exception. Now, I put them on, They did tuck some things in that should've been like my hips and thighs. I thought they looked great on. But the color is not for me. It looks nicer on the model though. 

Anyway, the fit was great. It really did make me lose 10 pounds in 10 seconds. It was an immediate difference. Now I'm 20. I don't like a higher waist either. 

Basically these jeans are not for me. I will probably wear them once in a while, but they are not my style. 

They have recently been on Oprah's show as one of her favorite things.

I guess Oprah wears them!!!

They come in a Samantha Bootcut, a Katie Straight, the Skinny Minnie and a Jean Legging.

Price: Each of the 3 styles are $110 and the Jean Leggings are $88 These are expensive jeans and I don't think they're worth that. 

Overall: **** Price is high. I didn't have a good experience with them, but someone else might.

Gimme Jimmy's Cookies Review & Giveaway

I love baked goods, of any kind really. Fresh baked cookies are my favorites though. Although if you put any sweets in front of me, they will be GONE and that's a GUARANTEE!!! But Cookies I love!

Gimmee Jimmy's was kind enough to send me a sample pack of cookies. I got 5-6 Chocolate Chunk and 10-12 Oatmeal Raisin cookies! I was in heaven.

Executive Gift Shoppe Review & Giveaway

Jon now has an office job that he LOVES and it's great to find a website that features a lot of items he could use on his desk. We received the Revolving Rosewood Finish Desktop Organizer from Executive Gift Shoppe and we love it. I took these pictures before I gave it to Jon Christmas Morning.

 Came in the box and then was wrapped.

 It's not dusty like it looks.

 I love that it revolves. Makes it easy to get the things you need.

I gave it to him on Christmas and he loved it. His face completely lit up when he saw it and said he needed one for work. 

It's not the big. The little compartments on the side (angled ones) are just big enough for sticky notes. The compartments fit about 10 pens in each section. It's not big, but it looks nicer than a mug like he was using and it's enough to clean up his desk a little bit. 

I told him he could use it at home or work. He hasn't taken it to work yet, but he really thinks he'll use it at home. I wanted him to take it to work because it matches his desk perfectly. But it's up to him I guess. 

He said he really likes it, it swivels nicely and smoothly. It's the right size for the items it's intended for and he enjoys how much nicer it looks. SCORE for me!!!

They carry so many other types of items. Like the Passport Holders and Leather Business Card Holders and many many others.

Price: The Desk Organizer we received is $38 on sale. I think this is a little pricey, but it is very high quality.

Ellembee Review & Giveaway

I have been drooling over Ellembee's clothes for a LONG time now. Over a year I would say. I finally contacted her and got a yes! I received a Medium Daisy Bouquet Plum Square neck Tee. It was too big on me. IN most of her pictures the items are very form fitting, so I opted for the medium. This one isn't form fitting at all. So She sent me a small and it fits great.

I love this tee. It's the one I chose a few months ago and it is the one I would choose again now. I'm in love with it.

I just love it. She has MANY other items that I love as well. This is still my first choice, but here are some other favorites of mine.

 I think I'll stop now, but I still have a LOT more favorites. Now you can all see why. I love her shop. I love her items. The way she screen prints is amazing. 

I've washed my shirt a few times already, worn it a few already. The print is not coming off at all. Not peeling, nothing like that. It's in great shape, no loose threads or anything of that sort. I just love it and it's so soft. 

Price: The shirt I received is $38. That last Entanglement Bamboo is $39.

Overall: ***** Great prints, high quality and the price is very reasonable as well.

Hope it's a good one! We opened presents,  went out to eat breakfast at IHOP and then saw Yogi Bear in the theater. Nothing else to do today.

Hem Gems Review & Giveaway

How many of you have jeans or pants that are too long? I do!! I go to a store and just buy my size in jeans, I don't shop high end places so there is no inseam on my pants. Most of them are too long on me. I'm not short by any means at 5'6" but I guess I have a below average inseam (about 31").
I received Both styles of Hem Gems the classic and the pyramid to try.

Pyramid are in the denim bag that was included. They both came packaged in that same type of box.

I tried the Pyramid ones with a pair of pants that I haven't worn yet because the inseam is WAY too long. They are really flared and because of that I didn't care for the hem gems. I had to tuck in about 5" of pant (yes that long) and because of the wide flair when I walked it twisted around and felt really heavy. If I were to try these with a bootcut or a slimmer style I don't think I would have a problem at all, but with that style pant there were definitely issues. 

However these will be good with my slim styles and some flats. I do like this feature so you can take the same pair of pants and shorten them for a flat, but lengthen them again for your heels. You can't do that in any other pair of professionally hemmed pants! So I do like the versatility of them.

Price: They come in Gold and Silver and are $20 for an 8 pack. I think this is reasonable. 

Overall: **** They don't work as well on a flare, they are heavy, but maybe it's because I had to 'hem' up so much.

Her mother's mental health cracks like ice, her closest friend grows cold, and her old boyfriend DeMott comes a-calling, hoping for more than chestnuts by an open fire.

While the city glows with Christmas lights and carols, Raleigh is forced to rely on her sharpest skills to stay alive, hoping for that one clear moment when everything makes sense and the clouds roll away.

I don't enjoy the topic that was spoken about Racism and Hate Crimes, but I think the author detailed them greatly and wrote a good book on them. This was a Christian Fiction book and although I'm not religious I did enjoy it. It's not a topic usually brought up in Christian Fiction, but it was a fairly enjoyable read. It definitely kept me entertained well.

I didn't get to read her first 2 books in the series, so I can't really compare them, but this was enjoyable and I can't wait to read further books in the series. Although, this book is a great read on a standalone and does not require the first 2 to be read first. I didn't feel lost. The story is full of suspense and action.

Price: It can be purchased on Amazon for $10 right now!! AWESOME and so worth it.

Crab Apple Kids Review

I can not wait to share with you this cute, quality and affordable clothing company for children. It's Crab Apple Kids and they carry the most in style items right now for Kids Clothing.
We received the B.T. Kids Yellow and Blue Floral Dress w/ Leggings and I love it! I know the picture is no longer there. I don't even think it's on their site anymore.
Here it is though. I think this is super cute for our relaxed Easter dinner with my extended family

 It's a 4, So it's a little bit, but I think in April for Easter it will fit perfectly. I'm not sure if they are capris or pants?? Either way, Cute!

Super adorable! This outfit really surprised me. The top is chiffon like material. Really thin/sheer material with the backing to it. The pants are cotton. I think this outfit is so cute and springy and I think it's great for all next spring and summer. I just love it and it's much cuter in person then it was on the website. I don't remember just how much it was, but I know it's super affordable!!

Star Costumes Review & Giveaway

You may remember I did an Elephant review right around Halloween! Avery loves that costume. She wears it as dress up ALL THE TIME!

She loves it and just adores it as Elephants are her favorite. Well this time Star Costumes offered us a Christmas Costume. We chose the Deluxe Angel for her and we love that one as well. It comes with attached wings and a halo headband.

It's a 4-6 so it's quite a bit big. But I think Next year or the year after Avery may be an Angel for Halloween. It's also cute if we do a Christmas party or go to one. I think it's adorable and she things she's a pretty angel in it. As do I!

Same with the elephant. It's a little cheaply made, but I think it will last a couple years none the less. I do like it, but the quality could definitely be better.

Price: The Angel costume we received is $23 on sale. Not bad!!

Leg warmers and lots of them! You all know how much I just love them. We use them so often. Under skirts and dresses and also under pants sometimes for extra warmth. They are great for going out and playing in the snow, great for keeping her legs warm once it drops into single digits! I know that jeans just aren't enough and that extra layer probably really helps.
Maybe next time I go out to shovel snow I'll put some on my calves to keep them warm! I wish they had butt warmers :)

EZ Sox Review & Giveaway

Socks are hard for some toddlers to master. Avery knows how to get them on herself, but they usually end up on backwards (with the heel on top) and she looses her grip quickly. She didn't even learn how to put them on until she was almost 3. It was just too hard for her to do. Now they have EZ Sox they have cool and cute designs to get your children interested and they have loops that your child can pull on to get their socks on easily.

I really like to try and live healthier and try and do all I can to be healthy and natural and I try the hardest for my family as well. WOW! At first I was afraid to use it. I mean look at it... It's intimidating. I laid on it with a sweatshirt on and didn't feel anything. So I went to my tshirt. I felt it but it definitely didn't hurt. I took off my shirt and bra and laid on it. It felt so good. It hurt a little, but after about 2 minutes I just got used to it. I use this about 3 days a week and I love it. I lay on it for 15-20 minutes when I crawl into bed and then take it out and I fall asleep immediately. It used to take me about an hour to fall asleep. Now it's 5 minutes after I'm done using my bed. I don't know if it made the difference, but it works and I like it. Ever since starting to use it I can fall asleep within 20 minutes now as opposed to an hour.

Jon has used it too, but he complains it hurts too bad. I don't think so at all.

The mat is nails, then cotton, then a memory foam type liner under that, followed by another layer of cotton.

Price: The bed retails for $65 USD. Not bad at all. It's worth it.

Overall: ***** I love it. It's relaxing and it doesn't take any concentration like I thought it did.
