Back In Town...

It was so much fun. We just got back a little while ago. We checked out of the hotel at 1:30 and then we went out for lunch and a little shopping and stopped by Jon's moms house. So we just got home. Pictures will be up in a couple days. GORGEOUS hotel. It was divine.

We didn't really do much. Saturday was spent all day shopping! We got to our hotel and because we paid an extra $10 per night they offered us a $100 Dinner certificate for BOTH nights. We took advantage of that. We spent $125 on dinner our firs night (Included gratuity and tip) and $107 our second night. Worked out real well that we got dinners for free. That was awesome.

Other than that I SWEAR I saw Chris Rock in our expensive mall on Saturday. Seriously it WAS HIM!!

On another note Saturday was  BEAUTIFUL wedding reception in the hotel and we're seriously considering it. They also offer the Ceremony onsite as well. And if we get married in the non-peak wedding time we'll get it all like half off. So we're thinking POSSIBLY November of THIS YEAR instead of June 2011. YAY!!! We're really thinking this might work.

So we had fun. Avery had a blast. Now I'm off to do laundry and then tomorrow is Cleaning and picking up the dogs which we boarded for a few days. Our mini vacation was great though!

Late July Organic Snacks Review

Late July organic Snacks are a good tasty treat for anyone in your family. Their Crackers and Cookies are delicious. Their products contain organic ingredients including real organic chocolate and are a source of whole grain and calcium. Yum!

Not only do they make a delicious treat, but they also are a company that is making a difference in the world. Late July has teamed up with the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) to launch their new line of cookies and raise awareness for endangered species around the world. Each cookie features one of 7 different endangered animals that were featured in Dr. Goodall's new book. So your child (or yourself) can get a snack and be educated about endangered species at the same time. In addition, 10% of the profits from the sale of Late July Organic Snacks goes towards JGI's charitable efforts

Late July was kind enough to send Avery and I some yummy treats for Review

They sent along the Mini Cookies in Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate, as well as some single serve snacks.
The White Chocolate cookies are sandwiched between two chocolate cookies and the Milk Chocolate are sandwiched between two Vanilla cookies. Avery has devoured the White chocolate box and It's almost gone!

The Green tea cookies were my favorite. They were delicious. Yummy

Orglamix Review

We all love Mineral makeup right? Don't we love that it's minerals and goes on so smoothly? I know I do. So whenever I get a chance to review some Mineral Makeup, I jump at the chance!
I was able to review 3 eye shadows from Orglamix on etsy.
She sent me the Vetiver
Sage
And Sticky Toffee
So far I've used the Sticky Toffee when we went to the Auto Show and I put on the Sage yesterday.
I LOVE these eye shadows. They don't crease like I have problems with other shadows. They go on so Smooth and they start out like a powder and then once you get it all blended it's almost like a cream shadow. It stays put and doesn't rub off either. My shadows lasted ALL DAY long without a crease or complaint.

I love these shadows so MUCH, that I want to order one in every color. They're super neat and last a while.

Orglamix also sells Mineral Powder for your face, Blush and Brushes as well

Price: Eye Shadows are just $4.99 EACH!!!! WOW. Awesome right? The blushes are $4.99 each as well and the mineral powder is just $3.99-$19.99.

Overall: ***** 5 star. AWESOME company, Cheap, and good quality products.

My Grandpa!

My grandfather was a great man. He would have been 79 today and I miss him dearly. He passed away 4 1/2 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I was only 15 when he passed, but I remember him so much. He was my buddy, friend and grandpa. He was well loved by many.

Here's my grandpa's obituary

Joseph C. *****, 74, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, Sept. 24 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.

Joe was born Jan. 27, 1931 in Aldrich, Alabama to Horace and Ruby Honeycutt *****. He married the former Mildred Holmes on Oct. 22, 1965 in Houston, Texas. Joe was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Daimler-Chrysler in 1989. They came to Gladwin in May 1995 and he was a member of Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church. Joe loved his hobby of woodworking which kept him very busy making furniture, cabinets, etc. for many and was well known for his talent. He was also past Master of the Warren Lodge of the Free and Accepted Mason, a member of the Shriners and was past President of the Coquina Gardens in Marco Island, Florida.

Surviving are his wife, Millie; two sons, Richard (Kathleen) ***** of Almont and Randall ***** of Eastpoint; and two grandchildren, Jason and Heather.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Alexander officiating.

Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call at the church from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled children. Sisson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

He never got to meet his 2 great-grandchildren Avery (my daughter) and Jax (my nephew) Jax was born 6 months after his death, and Avery was born 20 months after his Death.

My grandfather had a Triple By Pass surgery and went into a coma, He never came out of it and passed away 4 days after surgery. He was overweight and had diabetes. He suffered most of his life, But woodworking was his passion and he loved to see everyone else happy.

They would've celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary just 1 month after his passing on my grandma's birthday. I miss him so much it hurts!

On a good note I THINK my grandpa is here looking over Avery and I. Every once in a while stuff will go off and I'll say "Grandpa if that's you please let me know you're here" Sometimes it will go off again and sometimes not. Our Christmas tree ornament went off 3 times randomly in the 2 months it was up. And Avery's rocking horse goes off often as well, and that button is HARD to push!!

Anyway, I wanted you all to know what a great man my grandfather was. And I can't believe he would've been 79!

Grateful Body Review

Grateful Body has some very unique products. They have skin care items such as Cleansers, toners, moisturizers and even stuff for the body as well.
They even allow you to customize your own cleanser, moisturizer, and even an aquative treatment.

ABOUT US

Thank you for visiting us! We truly appreciate your interest in Grateful Body, and we'd like you to know exactly where we stand in the expanding world of natural skin care.

Our Mission
Since 1998, Grateful Body's mission has been to bring you 100% natural skin care that is nourishing, effective and luxurious while supporting the health of your skin, your body, and your planet.

Our Dream
Why not dream big? We dream of the day when all skin care products improve the long-term health of the skin as well as its immediate appearance; the day when the body care industry supports organic agriculture instead of the chemical industry. We dream of people everywhere being nurtured every day by coming "face-to-face with nature" thanks to healthy botanical body care.

Our Motivation: Health AND Beauty
We want to contribute to the health as well as the beauty of humanity. Grateful Body is a family business that began for very personal reasons. Our founder and formulator, lost two sisters to cancer before he was out of college. This shock was big enough that he began examining common lifestyle choices and the substances that we (women especially) expose our bodies to, in order to understand why this disease is becoming more and more prevalent. He also studied the medical understanding of older cultures, including traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic and Native American healing, all of which supported his desire to share the powerful benefits of vital plants that are used properly and respectfully.

We want you to have beautiful skin.  Grateful body is here to help you achieve your most radiant complexion, naturally and authentically. You don't have to choose between safe products and skin care that really works -- all you need to do is choose your favorite products!  Learn about our Custom Blends and Classic Formulas to get started. Read about what some of our customers have to say about how Grateful Body has transformed their skin.

How we make our Skin Care
After using our products, many people are curious how we make these incredibly delicious products that create such amazing results for their skin.

In order to provide you with sublimely effective products, it's absolutely essential that we begin with the highest quality raw botanicals.  We collect our fresh plant oils and our organic and ethically wildcrafted herbs from a handful of trusted suppliers and local farmers. Through much testing, investigation and observation, we have developed both an emulsifying system and a fully efficacious preservative system that use only food-grade ingredients.  This is how we create such luxuriously creamy cleansers and moisturizers without the use of chemicals.

Grateful Body's Classic products, Pure & Simple™ Bases, and Custom Blend Boosters are all blended by hand in artisan-sized batches.  We use a very low-tech approach: absolutely no exposure to high heat, chemicals, or any other factors that might compromise the value and effectiveness of our creations.  We rely on time-honored methods for our botanical infusions -- some of the herbal tinctures steep for several months! This allows the powerful, healing essence of the plants to be fully infused into the liquid. Our pure, potent hydrosols (aqueous distillations of selected organic plants) are obtained only from experts in the traditional steam distilling process. For our super-concentrated extractions, we use a special process that uses repeated waves of high pressure to rhythmically pull the essence from the plant material. From start to finish, Grateful Body products are artfully created by the Grateful Body team to bring you the freshest, most effective natural skin care your skin has ever known.

Sustainability
From our choice of ingredients (vital botanicals) and suppliers (local when possible) to our high purity standards and our recyclable packaging, we strive to do all we can to support the environment. Grateful Body is proud to be one of the feature destinations of the East Bay Green Tours here in the San Francisco Bay Area, "the nation's environmental epicenter."

in gratitude,

Shannon Schroter, Mary Cuneo,
and the Grateful Body Team

Eco Nuts Soap Review

What’s an Eco Nut?

Eco Nuts® are completely sustainable dried fruit shells that come from the Sapindus mukorossi tree in Nepal, India and Indonesia. The ones we harvest come from high up in the Himalayas and are the highest quality "soap nut" on the market. These fruit shells have been used in India and China for centuries, and are now gaining popularity in America and Europe as a renewable, biodegradable and organic alternative to chemical  detergents and expensive “Green” laundry soaps.
Eco Nuts® \ contain saponin, a natural cleaner that works as a surfactant, breaking the surface tension of the water to penetrate the fibers of your clothing, lifting stains from the fabric and leaving dirt suspended in the water that is rinsed away.
Eco Nuts® are gentle on both clothes and skin, making them ideal for those with sensitive skin, eczema, allergies and psoriasis. Because they are so mild, they are perfect for baby clothes and cloth diapers. The antimicrobial properties of Eco Nuts® also make them great for septic and grey water systems. But don’t expect these shells to foam up like commercial soaps, which have artificial foaming agents. Foam simply does not represent cleaning power.

Answers that question, doesn't it? I love these little things! This was my first time trying out an Eco Nut and I have to say that I LOVE them and will be buying them in the future!
Here's the Eco Nuts that were sent to us
Very interesting. I put them in their little baggie and washed my clothes. They came out CLEAN and smelling fresh. Granted they smelled like JUST water thought because they don't smell, so my next load I added a BIT of softener just to smell up the clothes and it worked and they smelled good and they were still clean. So far I've used these 3 times and They are starting to get a LITTLE bit mushy. Once they're used about 5 times and are mushy you throw them away. These are Safe for Front and Top Loaders!

The Greenest Laundry Soap on Earth!
Know What's In Your Water.
  • Biodegradable
  • Antimicrobial
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Perfect for Sensitive Skin, Allergies, Eczema, Psoriasis
  • 100% Natural and Free From Manmade Chemicals
  • Save Water! (Rinse Cycle Optional)
  • Beneficial For Septic and Gray Water Systems
  • Sustainable
  • Fragrance Free
  • Reusable
Proudly Packaged in the USA

I think that's pretty awesome!

DownEast Basics Review

I love affordable clothing. I love stylish and modest clothing. I love comfortable clothing, and that's why I love DownEast Basics. They're clothing is super affordable an they have a great selection.

DownEast just recently came out with some new arrivals. I was able to choose 2 items from the new arrivals section and review them here for my readers! I chose the Longitude Cardigan and the Frosted Flat Bead necklace. I love both these items and I love them together!!

On the website the necklace looks more Black, Grey and tan. But in person it's more Brown, Tan and white! But it still looks good with the cardigan.
This cardigan is more of a tee shirt material and not a sweater. I like this because it's good on those chilly spring and summer nights but isn't too warm like a sweater would be! I love how comfortable this cardigan is!
Here's some other items I'm drooling over from their new arrivals
Finest Pearls top $22.99
Lost in Love dress $25
Miss slim skinny jean $45
And there's plenty more beautiful accessories and items alike!! I love their stylish clothes!

The price is AWESOME! You'd pay the same price going to Kohl's or another store. Why not try a NEW store instead of buying from the same place over and over again?

Overall: I give DownEast Basics a ****. Love their good quality clothes!

Cate and Levi Review

I love getting and receiving One Of A Kind stuff for Avery. It means she's special and that NO OTHER child has one like her. They're all different! As she gets older I will tell her that her Cate and Levi puppet is a one of a kind and that she's special because her's looks like no other child's puppet! I think she'll love this thought and will feel so SPECIAL!

We received the Giraffe Hand Puppet in the boy color (asked for girl, ehh whatever) and Avery loves it! She's trying to put it on her hand every day and make it work, but her little arm just doesn't reach, poor girl. She loves when we put it on though. It's a big hit in this house and I see this as being Daily Play with her!

I absolutely adore this puppet! I love that it's made of Recycled Wool and it's made In Canada!! I like that it's not being made over seas and is actually made not too far from home!
10% of his profits also go to children in need. Awesome Right? And these are HANDMADE in his studio in Toronto!! Can't beat a father who knows what he wants and how to achieve that! Awesome company!
Cate and Levi also carries items like Pillow Pals, Stuffed Animals, Zoo Cubes, and Wall Art.

Price: The hand puppets are $35, For HANDMADE OOAK! Zoo Cubes are $30 and I think they're so dang cute! Wall Art is $45 they will add a lot of color to your child's room or nursery. And the Pillow Pals are $30! These items are so dang cute!

Overall: ***** star. Awesome! These are made of wool which is sturdy and durable. I see this puppet lasting YEARS as long as the moths don't get to it!

Frecklebox Review

I love personalized items for Avery and I know other parent's do as well. When you have more than one child it definitely get rid of fighting over who's is who's and I like that a lot. So now because of Frecklebox being so kind, Avery has her own personalized placemat.

Fecklebox sent us the zebra zest placemat and I'm in love! I didn't want anything too girly and this really stood out to me and popped! So I snatched it up. Avery's been dirtying our tablecloth now that she's in her booster seat and this came at a perfect time. I was getting ready to throw her back into her high chair until we got a placemat. It was perfect! Avery loves it as well

It's pretty isn't it? We love it!

Frecklebox is also reasonably priced. Their placemats are just $9.95, stickers are $3.95 for 12. They have some awesome prices.

So far this Placemat has withheld 6 meals and 2 washings. Since it's laminated I see it lasting for a long time. At just $9.95 even if it lasts 2 years I'll be happy and willing to replace it!
Overall: I give Frecklebox a **** 1/2 star!! Very happy with Frecklebox Personalized Gifts!

Charm Factory Review

I love jewelry, there's no doubt about that! I love bracelets, and I especially love Personalized jewelry and bracelets. Which is why I like Charm Factory. It's all about Charm bracelets and that makes it fun!

You can personalize these bracelets to your own style. The charm bracelets have well over 100 charms to choose from!

Charm Factory sent me one of their Heart Bracelets in lieu of Valentine's Day! They sent me the Sterling Silver Heart Bracelet.
It's 7" long with a 2" extender! I've worn this bracelet for the past 4 days that I've owned it and received a lot of compliments on it. In fact Nadia Bjorlin commented on it yesterday!! Pretty sweet huh? If you don't know who she is, check the post RIGHT before this one!

It has held up real well and there's no scratches on it, Avery's pulled on it and it hasn't broken (yet).
And the best part... It's made right here in the USA!!
RATING: I give it a ***** star! Perfect.

isABelt Review and GIVEAWAY

Do you suffer from that infamous "Back Gap", or your pants falling down, or your undies showing? You DEFINITELY need isABelt. This invention is downright awesome. It's basically a clear belt. I like that it's not bulky. I don't like bulky belts.
I have this one pair of pants that hardly get worn because they are 1 size too small and even though they fit me all around I have "Back Gap" in them and it sucks. I hate wearing a bulky belt and so isABelt was the perfect solution for me!!

Yes I wasn't pulling in the second picture and there was a LITTLE give to it, but My pants didn't fall down and they didn't feel like they were going to fall down. They didn't feel lose one bit!! I felt very comfortable with the isABelt. In fact you can hardly even see it here!

From The Website:
isABelt Ltd… founded in 2007 was the brainchild of partner and inventor Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio. Leslie came up with the idea if the isABelt while shopping for a pair of new low-rise jeans. As cute as the pants were, they would not stay up and you could see right down the back of her pants if she bent over or sat down. She found that she was wearing a belt even when she didn’t want to or her outfit didn’t call for a belt. Leslie saw that her friends all had the same problems and the isABelt was born.

isABelt is the Original invisible belt, the MUST HAVE Fashion “fix-it” accessory. A thin, strong and flexible clear plastic belt, that virtually disappears when worn, providing you with the assurance that all is secure without even knowing it's there. isABelt prevents back gap, slippage and of course, belt bulk and belt bulge. The isABelt solves all of these fashion issues and many more.
isABelt Ltd has three partners: Elise Wilkins, Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio and Lori Wilkins-Vaughan

isABelt sent me the isABelt Original and the isABelt Wide. Jon has claimed the Wide and says he likes it for work when he's just wearing a sweater or a suit jacket, When he's just wearing a dress shirt he said he doesn't wear it because he doesn't want it showing!!

I received the Large Original isABelt an What I like is that it adjusts all the way down to a size 0! But goes up to a size 16 so it has a wide range and you can share it with your whole family! The plus size goes from size 4 to a 50" waist!
The Wide Unisex one goes from a size 2/4 to 50" as well! These are meant to fit everyone!

isABelt also makes a Jr. in cool prints! It's hard to see the picture well so here's the link.

Abrione Review

Natural Skin Care? Turn to Abrione. They sent me 3 sample products to try out and review with my readers! Wasn't that sweet?

On the Left: Heels and Elbows (and other dry areas) Middle: Brown Sugar Strawberry scrub Right: Turquoise Masque

Heels and Elbows: AWESOME! It absorbed in right away with a little residue left over, but it wasn't greasy or oily, It was nice and when I woke up in the morning my feet were so replenished and my hands felt like butter! It was truly amazing!

Brown Sugar Strawberry scrub: Seriously I have nothing bad to say about this stuff! Simply Amazing! It smells so yummy, and really does smell like Strawberry's and Brown Sugar! So sweet and Yummy!! And it works good too, It's a gentle exfoliation and made my skin feel so soft and smooth when leaving the shower!

Turquoise Masque: Haven't used it yet and have to say I'm quite leary because it smells so funny. I don't even know that I want to try it! We'll see though, maybe I'll muster up enough courage to take on the battle!

Short Hats Review

Want stylish hats that will keep your child's head warm? Look no further than the Short Hat Company.

Chris was kind enough to send us the Bella, not only did I choose this hat because it was the cutest and most adorable on the site, but I also thought it was fitting as we had just named our pup that!! How cute!! He also sent me the Edith. He was out of the pink so sent the White Instead!!

Avery was not cooperating for me yesterday!!

Here's my favorite Boy's Hat
 Buster
These are just the winter hats! They also offer Spring hats as well!!!
Coco is my favorite Girl's Spring hat

And Orbit is my favorite Boy's

All of these hats are of such great quality! And they all come in size 2-6 Yr! Some come in a 9-18M size So lookout for that!

About The Company:
Short Hat Company is a family owned business that is dedicated to creating beautiful, quality hats that satisfy the needs of both kids and parents. The quest for the perfect hat began in 2001 when we were living in Hawaii and our son Oscar was born. We found hats for kids that protected, but offered little in the way of style. The following year, we moved back to our home state of Colorado where a childhood friend offered us the opportunity to join his growing outdoor hat company in Boulder. After many years of designing headwear for the outdoor industry, we decided to bring this unique design perspective to the children’s boutique market.

I think these hats are a Little bit pricey as most of them are around $30, but if you can keep them out of the lost and found they should last at least a few years!

Blog Name

Lately I've been reconsidering my Blog name! Currently I have 1 child. I want 3-4 For now I think it's cute, but what do you think?

Be Present Review

Be Present specializes in workout clothing. The best part about Be Present is that their clothing is made right here in the UNITED STATES!! How awesome is that? I personally hate when stuff is made over in china. But not this! Love when a company pays a little more to have quality stuff made here in the U.S.A!

Be Present was kind enough to send me the Renew Ribbed Chakra Tank in Blue/Teal color. It means that when you're feeling shy you're supposed to wearblue and it will increase your communication and creativity! Pretty neat huh?
About Be Present:
Eco-Conscious
Clothing for the yoga Lifestyle
Colorado-based

be original:
be present, a clothing line carried in yoga studios, boutiques, spas and resorts throughout the United States and the World, incorporates the yoga philosophy into the design. be present began as clothing for yogis and yoga instructors, and evolved into a company rooted in the experience of yoga, but designed for those who value versatile, simple, comfortable clothing. Yoga is a centuries old eastern philosophy with contemporary devotees, and yoga clothing needed a modern look that embraced and respected the philosophy without being commercial. Our pants are designed to weather the street as much as they are designed to hit the mat. In the years since the first be present pant was introduced, our line has set the industry standard for versatile, agile and mobile yoga pants. be present has consistently been on the forefront of creativity and originality in the yoga world. As the line evolves into a company rooted in the yogic lifestyle but accessible to anyone who values high quality, fashionable and active clothing, we will continue to be a leader in innovative designs.

be present:
Modern day yoga is often characterized with an appreciation of the present moment. be present is more than a clothing line, it is a way of life. To be present, one must always live a balanced lifestyle: listen to your body, let yourself daydream, have fun, sweat, pay attention to your social, sexual and spiritual being. At the core of be present are the seven chakras. Symbolizing energy centers in the body, each chakra is associated with a color and a symbol. Chakras are essential to the clothing line - which consists of shirts, pants, camisoles and matching chakra panties. The colors for the line are inspired by the colors of the chakras. Need more grounding? Red is root chakra, attributed to stability and inner strength. Want to feel sexy? Orange is sacral chakra, associated with being sensual. Big day ahead of you? Yellow is solar plexus chakra, associated with energy and increased confidence. Need a hug? Green is heart chakra, associated with compassion and unconditional love. Feeling shy? Blue is throat chakra, associated with increased communication and creativity. Want to be psychic? Indigo is third eye chakra, associated with the unconscious self. Need wisdom? Purple is crown chakra, associated with wisdom and the spiritual world.

All that's pretty cool isn't it? I think this company is wonderful!

Me and Madeline Review

Me and Madeline has recently opened up her new store! She specializes in making crochet hats and hair accessories for little girls. She also makes hats for boys too!

Molly sent me this ADORABLE Brown with pink flower hat for Avery. The fit on this hat was perfect. And it's BEAUTIFUL. Avery doesn't usually like hats, but she keeps this one on! It covers her ears too. She won't keep on a winter hat, but this one she does so when we go out in the cold at least there's something on her head to help keep her warm!

She also sent me this SUPER cute Triple Strand Crochet Headband It fits us BOTH! But no pictures of me in it, Just Avery! Darn huh?

Great thing about Me and Madeline is you can custom what you want! Don't see a size or color in her store? Tell Molly what colors you want and she'll get it done for you! How great is that?

Avery's First Haircut

Yep I finally broke down and did it... MYSELF! I've never cut hair a day in my life, but I figured "How hard could it be?" And it really wasn't! It was easy. I just cut off the bottom layer and a little off the top layer. I wanted it to be a bob, but her bangs were just still too short, so in a couple months probably right before her birthday (in May) I'll cut it again and actually make it a bob this time and make it even with her bangs! But for now, Here's Avery's new hairstyle!

I ended up cutting a little more than that off. But altogether it was about 1 1/2" off!

The Cream Perfume Company Review

Do you like perfume? Do you like moisturizers? How would you like a CREAM perfume? Then you will LOVE The Cream Perfume Company. They have all this!

I was lucky enough to try out 3 full size moisturizers, Rose, Lavender and Coconut. They also sent me 3 cream perfumes, Mango Poudre, Ylang Ylang and Mimosa Bouquet. I'm loving these products so far.

I Love using the Mango Poudre cream perfume, it's awesome! It smells like mangos but it also has sandlawood, musk, and vanilla added to it. Sandalwood and Musk are in MOST perfumes and Colognes so this smells more real as opposed to just fruity. I LOVE it and this is my favorite one!

I gave my mom the Mimosa Bouquet because I HATE gardenia, and that's mostly what this smells like. She LOVES it!
How the cream perfume works is you open up the lid (duh right?) and then you smear your finger in it (almost like applying lipgoss) and then spread it on your wrists and neck. It's YUMMY and I like the idea. You don't have to inhale the alcohol and smell of real perfume and I like that. It has a real nice smell to it as well.

The moisturizers are Yummy as well! They smell divine. The coconut is my favorite but Jon hates Coconut so it's rose in front of him. I also gave my mom the Lavender because I'm not too fond of it. So she got those for Christmas and Liked them!! It was a cheap Christmas gift!

From the Website:
It is believed Egyptians were the first people to incorporate perfumes (primarily natural incense and ointments) into their culture around 3000bc. The methods of extracting natural scents, although primitive by comparison, were technically not much different than they are today. Perfumes were often mixtures of oil and crushed petals or herbs until the Arabs later learned to extract oils from flowers through the process of distillation.
Strolling the cobbled streets of Grasse, past cafes, the Notre Dame du Puy cathedral and the 12th-century bishop's palace, a visitor would find it hard to imagine that this medieval Provencal town has assumed the mentorship role associated with today's billion-dollar perfume industry. With soil and climate that are perfect for fields of jasmine, tuberose and hyacinth, perfume has a long and storied history in Grasse.
We work exclusively with internationally renowned perfumers and the local artisans of Grasse to develop premium nature identical oil blends, ECOCERT certified organic essentials, absolutes and pure plant and fruit extracts. Our perfumes are all phthalate free and contain no sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, triclosan, GMO, PPG, MEA, DEA, TEA or formaldehyde donors. Our products are cruelty free.
Additionally, our perfumed body moisturizers are 100% vegan, wheat and gluten free, contain no glycol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic additives or synthetic fragrances.
We look for the world's best ingredients to luxuriously hydrate and repair your skin combined with unique fragrances to simply delight your senses. We focus on environmentally friendly packaging and overall eco-value. We are The Cream Perfume Company and simply make better scents, naturally!

Price: The moisturizers are just $12 for a 6oz size. I think that's pretty generous! I think this is a good price. Sometimes you pay quite a bit more than this for something that's a lot smaller. And this Moisturizer WORKS!
The Nuts (cream perfume) are also $12, but they Last a WHILE! I have worn mine every day for almost 2 weeks now and I haven't even put a dent in it!

Overall: I give the Cream Perfume Company a **** 1/2. They are a good company that cares!

Saturday 9: You Shook Me

1. What celebrity would you just want to shake some sense into? Jon Gosselin....

2. What do you think comes after death? There is an afterlife. I don't believe in Heaven and Hell, but I do believe in Reincarnation!

3. What is the first book that you can remember reading by yourself as a child? It's Spring. I was 4

4. What was the first rock concert that you attended? Eh... Don't really know if they're so much rock, But my first concert was LeAnn Rimes... And we just saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra. And I've seen about 200 concerts in between. But they're ALL country! Although I have seen Donny Osmond (4 times) and I've met him as well!!

5. If you were to suddenly become famous, would you choose a stage name? If yes, what would it be? I don't know that I would, and If I would I have NO IDEA what it would be!

6. What is the one thing that you wish the media would stop talking about? How people are always doing "drugs" It's stupid, and most the time NOT TRUE

7. If you could be part of any band, which one would it be and who would you be and why? No Idea! I'm not very musically talented. I can play flute and I can halfway sing. I would like to be a backup singer or a flute player in an orchestra, but it will never happen!

8. Do you live close to your immediate family members? If not, how far away are they? Yes I do! We're all within the same state at least. My grandma is 2 1/2 hours away but we still see her about 5 times a year!

9. Last seasonal question (promise): What did you do on New Year's Eve? We actually went and got our puppy on New Year's Eve. By the time We got home it was almost 9 and we got Avery ready for bed and got some snacks ready and watched the countdown. It was nothing special this year. But Avery stayed up for the countdown so that was kind of neat!

Our new Baby!!

Well we got her! She's so beautiful and perfect! We have changed her AKC name to Brown Sugar Bella Girl. Bella for Short!

We love her to pieces. She's so good with Avery and with us. She's paper trained so she's only had 2 accidents on the carpet since being here and they were both the first night. For the most part though all business is done outside. We're being very strict and taking her out every 2 hours and making sure she goes! She's done good so far!

Luckily we still have this crate from when our Pug had puppies last September!! We have the puppy and that's Boog. His momma died in March of '09!

Without further ado, Meet Bella!
