I've really been into working out more lately. I love the feeling I get from a 30 minute workout. I was using Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred when I got the Shed 5 Fast DVD in the mail! I used it once and was hooked. She uses a very similar method as Jillian, but it's much more upbeat. I like that she does the exercise right along with you. I felt great after that first workout and I still feel great after the 29th workout! I've been trying to do it everyday, even though I have skipped a couple, but it's been a blast and I have noticed a difference in my muscle tone.
It's about 30 minutes long. She does a 3 minute warm-up. 24 minute workout, but it's different intervals and then a 3 minute cool down. There are 2 workouts on this DVD. I did the first one for 5 days before jumping to the second one. I like the first one better I think. They are about the same endurance wise, but I like the workouts in the first one better.
I didn't lose 5 pounds or more in the first 3 weeks, but that's because I don't really have weight to lose. I do this as a toner and just to relieve some stress. It has been working miracles for me. I can't wait to continue to use it and get more toned.
Lindsay Brin also has abut 10 other DVDs. She has some for Pregnancy, Boot camp, and Core fitness, so also has a dance jam. No wonder why she's so fit!!
Price: This DVD is $15.99, but they range between $10-$16 for the DVDs. You can also get a 4 pack of 3 pregnancy and a boot camp for $50. These are all very generous prices and I'm very happy with it.
Overall: ***** I think I'll buy her core fitness DVD next.
