Sewing Projects I've Been Working on!

These were all done BY ME and ME ONLY. I had no help!!
I feel like I'm getting better.
My dad bought me a Sewing Machine for my birthday (1 week ago) I bought it almost 2 weeks ago and this is what I've accomplished so far!
Very first project EVER. Thought it was a good starter since it was already smocked
First skirt, Not the best, I messed up the waistband pretty bad, but it's wearable!
Then I discovered the casing elastic, and not sewing it in
Much better, but a little short!!!
Here she is Modeling the Short Apple and Pear skirt, I just put shorts on underneath it. It is a little short though
Then today I made a REVERSIBLE TOP!! I'm so proud of myself. It turned out really good. Or at least I think it did. My straps are a little long, this will also be cute over a L/S tee in the winter
Now I'm out of fabric. Not totally, but I bought 4 fabrics and I've used them all, now I need more!!!

Each skirt costs me about $3 to make, that includes the Elastic, and that shirt I would say cost about $4-$5. So this is cheaper to make your childrens clothes.
Next I want to attempt pants/capris AND different patterns, like ruffles on pants and stuff. We'll see!!

very cute! I wanted a sewing machine that was on sale a Target a few weeks ago, but by the time I got there, there were none left :(
and no rainchecks!
Anyway, I'm keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a sewing machine so I can make cute stuff for my girls too! A pillowcase dress is my goal :)
